Taste Of China

This is my new go-to Chinese place for takeout. I walked in to pick up my order I was greeted with a smile! The food was delicious and not overly sweet. I just really appreciate that they seem happy to serve the customer. I highly recommend them. I gave the atmosphere five stars because I consider it only a takeout place. And so the atmosphere is made up of customer service and good food.

The food is really good here it's always fresh and hot, I have eaten here 5 days in a row and every single time they did not disappoint, I am not from the area and far away from home very thankful I found this place as the food here brought me back to life from a terrible cold, they are such hard workers cooking up amazing dishes in epic time, the location might not look like much but the extensive and awesome menu makes up for that, I definitely recommend the happy family with actual lobster meat in it 5 stars all the way. Small, hole in the wall restaurant that does have limited dine-in option. But that's fine we always do take out for Chinese food and their food is awesome! We've lived in Smithfield for 2 years, I don't know why it took us so long to come out and try Taste of China! We've eaten here twice in 1 week! My husband loves their General Tso's chicken, I've had their chicken chow mein and beef lo mein and they're both so yummy. Glad we finally made it out here!

Its best to get the lunch or dinner special you get more bang for your buck. I mostly order Lo Mein at most Chinese restaurants but this place uses a lighter color and less sauce which I dont mind because my taste for salt is more pronounced. I just dislike places that drown their dishes with soy. Its only take out only. Taste 6/10 Presentation 4/10 Restaurant Scenery 4/10

My favorite Chinese restaurant in Smithfield/Selma. The spring rolls are hot, fresh and crispy! Sesame chicken and white rice is my favorite here. I like that they never have any wilted or yellowed broccoli here compared to other places. Very nice workers and the donuts here are also delicious! They’re taking good precautions for Covid for anyone worried. No inside entrance right now, pickup at the Dropbox outside only.
