This place seems to have a wonderful selection of dishes. The service was prompt and was able to keep up well with a group of 12. I had the Asian Emily Salad for lunch and it was delicious. The ginger dressing was just tangy enough and the chicken was perfectly cooked.

I have to say that Red Rock Falls is the best kept secret going on. I live in Pittsburgh and came her after a day at the outlets. I cant even begin to describe my experience. I got 2 entrees. The one pound rocket chop and a full rack of ribs. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!!! I ate everything licking my fingers. Food? AMAZING! Service from Peggy? SUPERB!!! Wish I knew ahead of time it was BYOB. I will definitely be making the trip with no intent to go shopping only just to eat at an awesome place. I think I'll save my calories next time for 3 entrees. Lol. Oh but I'm serious. My friends burgers looked great....... gotta have that too. Thanks Red Rock!!! I'll definitely be back soon. Stomach misses u already.

The Red Rock Falls is the place to go if you want high quality food at a reasonable price! The ribs fall right off the bone and the burgers are delicious. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. Went with a group of 8 with minimal wait time and had great time with a lot of laughs!

Red Rock Falls Shines!. I have had the opportunity to eat at Red Rock Falls over twenty times since they were purchased a few years ago by a few talented restaurant entrepreneurs from the Pittsburgh area. I believe they were originally called Wolf Creek Café. While they have always had good food, I am delighted to see that they are finally getting the recognition they deserve – although a reservation is now recommended on most nights (I suppose this is a good problem to have).

Aside from the old-world country ambiance (their restaurant location has a storied history as an old schoolhouse and is quite charming), the food is consistently very good. While not a complaint, they have been running with their current menu for quite a while now – but from what I understand, they are planning on introducing a refreshed menu soon – so I’m definitely looking forward to that. That being said, I’d probably describe their cooking style as slightly upscale comfort food—from their spot-on steak preparation to their tasty pastas. Other than a few unique specials here and there, I wouldn’t necessarily describe their general culinary approach as being overly ambitious or adventurous – although you can always count on fresh ingredients and reliable preparation. Their service philosophy (and staff) is excellent and they will always go out of their way to make sure you’re happy.

Red Rock’s biggest local competitor is North Country Brewing, which has the advantage of having a beer and wine license. You can still BYOB to Red Rock which is nice – and will ultimately save you money in the long run (although some people still feel uncomfortable bringing in their own alcohol). While getting a license can be expensive and political, I do think Red Rock would benefit greatly from serving beer and wine – and I hope they continue to pursue this avenue.

Sure North Country Brew Pub has beer – but the food is hit or miss (unfortunately, more times miss), the ambiance is loud and crazy (the place is a magnet for students and local types), and you’ll often wait for an hour or more to get a table (which is ridiculous). If you’re looking for an upscale casual dining experience in a relaxing and picturesque environment and have no problem stowing in a bottle of wine or two (and you remember to make a reservation), then I can think of no better place than Red Rock Falls.

Relaxing Atmosphere. The atmosphere is relaxing. There is a fireplace to sit by during the fall and winter . We love lounging on the deck during the spring and summer. We love the garlic buttered prawns and the French Onion Soup and the Zuppa Tuscona. Seafood, steak, pasta and salads! We've tried it all and Loved it all!

WOW. Where were you guys four years ago? We went to Red Rock Falls for the first time when my daughter graduated from SRU. My whole family (10 of us) enjoyed everything about this restaurant. I wish the place was open the whole time my daughter was attending the college. We live 90 minutes away, but we will be back. It's worth the drive.

Charming School House Setting. Just a mere hop, skip and a jump away in Slippery Rock is a great new restaurant, Red Rock Falls. It is located on the north end of town in a quaint old school house complete with bell. We met our good friends Tim and Bobbi there for dinner and had a wonderful time. They do not have a liquor license but you can bring your own wine or beer. We highly recommend the appetizer Garlic Prawns -- delicious! The salads that came first were good and several of their dressings are housemade. I had a caesar salad and loved it. Tim had the Ribs which were fall off the bone tender. John, my husband, had the Wizard of Oz Pasta Special with shrimp, chicken and a chunky, creamy tomato sauce. I had a house specialty, Eggplant Rollatini, breaded strips of eggplant rolled up with ricotta cheese inside and served with creamy parmesan noodles. Bobbi had the Mushroom Medley Pasta which was really tasty. The portions were nice sized and nobody went home hungry. To cap off the evening we split a couple of desserts: 4 layer carrot cake and a chocolate banana layer cake. I don't know if they're homemade (I forgot to ask - have another glass of wine Lisa!) but it didn't matter, they both were incredibly decadent.

The restaurant is owned by Michael and Diane Grenek and their partners Jeff and Peggy West. They opened back in September of 2009 and are open Tuesday through Sunday for lunch and dinner. Red Rock Falls has a beautiful enclosed porch that can be reserved for private parties and a great deck overlooking a new pond for outdoor dining. Give them a try! Cathy Jennings. We are regulars at the restaurant and want everyone to know about it. In the winter, we would eat near the fireplace, and now that the weather is warmer, we dine outside next to the beautiful gardens. The owners are always present, and treat us like family. Wow, what a refreshing change.

Family Friendly. As a mother of 4, I love going to Red Rock Falls because it's so family friendly. The women's restroom is well equipped to handle any little "accident" that might occur while dining, and the kid menu is quite large (with several healthier options). All my kids love the bendoroo-type toy that comes with the meal, and of course, they always have room for the mini funnel cake. Eating out is just easier when your kids are happy. Keep up the good work!

You Must Go!. If you're in the Slippery Rock area, or on your way to Grove City Outlets, you have to eat at Red Rock Falls. I like to call it Butler County's Best Kept Secret! Everything about the place is so cool, and the food is awesome. Since the place is BYOB, we save a lot of money by taking our own bottle of wine, or a six pack of beer. It's definately our new favorite restaurant.

We'll be back!. We had dinner (for the first time) at Red Rock Falls.

The Garlic Butter Prawns was a fresh and light appetizer. The Caesar salad was refreshing... and I was delighted with the Parmesan-encrusted Grouper, light, flaky, full of flavor...

Then there was dessert... enough to bring home half to enjoy a day later! A light caramel cheese cake and an Orange Mimosa cake. yum!

Remember to bring you own wine... and don't forget to ring the school bell on the way out!

Stopped here for lunch after a graduation at a nearby university and had a great lunch! I ordered the hummus and pita appetizer and it was AWESOME. The hummus had such great flavor and the pita was perfect for dipping. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating for our group.

Historic one-room school house turned restaurant. Great menu, nice atmosphere, menu looks expensive but meals are affordable and delicious. Check out the dessert tray for yummy deliciousness. As of November 2020, the negative impact on this restaurant from Covid-19, has forced owners to permanently close the doors of this hospitality business Red Rock Falls will be sadly missed and another economic victim of the global pandemic. 😪

Delicious food, friendliest servers anywhere. Maggie is the best! Dinner menu has really large portions, lunches are still plenty big. A very creative menu with lots of different types of food. Tasty desserts too, if you haven't stuffed yourself with your meal. Can't go wrong with this place!

We had our wedding rehearsal dinner here and I was very impressed. It was very easy to set up plans for the event. The service staff was amazing. The timing of the food was perfect. It made it a very pleasant and relaxed dinner. The food was absolutely delicious. We had chicken that was moist and delicious, and tender tasty roast beef. The chef did a wonderful job. I highly recommend this restaurant. They did such an impressive job.

This is a really nice place to eat that most people drive-by and don’t notice. It looks almost like a big red barn or an old school house. A table settings are nice, the service is very good call me in the food is excellent. On warm days you can sit out back in the open or you can stay inside protected from the weather. I would recommend this place definitely. Last time I was there it was BYOB.

Food was excellent and so was the service. I got the 9 oz Montreal Sirloin and it was done perfectly, the baked potato was huge and fresh. My husband got the beer battered grouper and fries and said it was delicious. Everything was piping hot! I deducted one star because the place had a musty smell that got my husband's allergies going but other than that I totally recommend it!

Always a satisfying experience. This time I had the Red Pepper Penne dish and loved it. The food is always delicious, the service is always so prompt and friendly, and the atmosphere is quaint and lovely. This has long been a favorite restaurant. Great for dinner dates by the fireplace, quiet lunches in the enclosed patio, or group gatherings.

The food is excellent. Their seafood is out of this world. New fish special every Friday. Early bird offers offered on many evenings between 4-6 pm, such as meal discounts or free dessert or appetizer. Reservations are available for busy nights. I highly recommend it.

Wow, talk about regretting passing this place multiple times and eating elsewhere, I was legitimately impressed with everything. They have a great menu with many choices, BYOB a unique atmosphere and outdoor seating! Lunch looks to be super affordable, and Dinner was reasonably priced! A great place for a family get together or a romantic evening for 2!

We enjoyed our visit to Red Rock Fslls restaurant. The place has changed ownership since we last visited many years ago and the menu is now much more diverse. The building was once a schoolhouse and still retains some of the original features. They've added a sunroom and outdoor patio that offer lots more seating options for groups. In fact, there was a bridal shower going on when we were there. The food was flavorful and plentiful. Most of the salad dressings are made in house, but the desserts are not. Service was very good and very friendly. They do not have a liquor license, but encourage you to BYOB and charge a $1 per person corking fee.
