Restaurant Cote

Cute little place I didn't even know we there. If the weather is cold when you go, bring a jacket!! I had the Cali chicken sandwich. Very good! Other members of our party ordered off the dinner menu and were surprised at the small portions. We actually stopped on the way home to pick up some fast food. Our server was great, but the kitchen was very slow in getting orders out. Even though the food I got was good, I'm not sure if we'll give it another try.

We have been here a few times for Sunday brunch. Its best to book a reservation. At times they are really busy and you can't get in unless you have a reservation. We didn't have a reservation but decided to give it a try anyway. Although they didn't have any availability in the restaurant we were offered to go next door in the bar, which we did. The mimosas and bloody Mary's are good but that fried pork belly and potatoes were fantastic!

Came in 20 min before closing just for crème brulée they said ok no problem i will put the order in and transfer it to the bar side. So i went to the bar and told the bartender. After 30 min of still no dessert we asked the bartender where our dessert was and he said the kitchen was closed and there was no kitchen staff there. We explained that the order was already put thru on the restaurant side so he called the employee we put the order thru with and he said he never took an order. And when i reminded the bartender that i told him about the order as soon as we got there, he said he actually didn't hear me. So i guess he said ok not knowing what he was responding to... So we left immediately after paying $20 for our 2 drinks. Very disappointed in their customer service or lack there of.

When we entered, we didn't know where to sit for lunch, menus, anyone work here? Atmosphere is nice. Music is loud, hard to have a conversation. Ordered shrimp creole. It was pretty good. Stocked full of fresh chopped vegetables. My companion got cuchon de lais poboy and said it was delicious, but had to fork and knife it. Looks like there are several regulars here that feel very comfortable. After we found someone, service was great.
