The Slidell Cracker Barrel has always been a great place to go for some very good food! This time we had a great waitress, Michelle who was very attentive. We had breakfast this time and everything tasted great but my pancakes were only slightly warm so the butter didn't melt. I told Michelle and she brought me some hot n fresh pancakes which were delicious! . She didn't even charge me for hot cakes! The restaurant has all types of meals but we go there mainly for their awesome breakfast meals. We also love the "Rural County Store" ambiance of the restaurant's County Store.

Such a comfy and cozy place! My favorite is the 'Grandma's Sampler'. It comes with eggs, 3 kinds of meats, hashbrown casserole or fried apples, and scrumptious buttermilk pancakes. Everything on this plate was extraordinary. Eggs were fluffy, meats weren't too salty like most places, hashbrown casserole is cheesy and flavorful, and the pancakes have crispy edges and are fluffy on the inside. One of my favorite breakfast places!

Great country restaurant, with a great selection of food to order! The Cracker Barrel Country Boy Breakfast has it all, eggs, steak, potatoes, grits and apples along with biscuits and gravy!

Food was good. Excellent service from waitress. Went to rest room stalls were needing attendance told worker and she looked at it and said they will be in here in a few to clean them. It needed attendance right then because handy capped stall was only one available worker was in the others.

Cracker barrel is always a great place for familiar and comforting food when in a new city. I love that their chicken fried chicken is moist chicken breast instead of preformed patty!

We usually go here on our way out of town, the food is always delicious. Today was different. Steak was not good, hashbrown casserole tasted old and food had no seasoning.
