Ordered Duck kway chap for two. Beside braised duck, it has 3 layered pork, bean curd, pork skin, eggs & tau pok. The black sauce is quite nice, it's chilli is good. The meat can be more tender. Overall pretty delicious. $14 - not ex

The $7 mixed combo is the best to enjoy Kway Chap and duck meat concurrently. The portion is generous and the soup is great.

This stall has seen better days, to be honest. I ordered the kway chap for two pax. Had duck meat, tau gua, eggs, duck liver and of course, the intestine (大肠头) Here’s my take: the intestine wasn’t clean properly as it still has a funky smell. It is not easy to thoroughly clean intestines but when done right, there should not be any hint of funky smell. The texture was slightly rubbery and perhaps a tad hard, which makes me wonder if it was from yesterday. I still love the duck though. The dark soya gravy always pair up well with duck meat and duck liver. Savoury and fragrant. And last but not least, they have two types of chilli dipping sauce! I like that! When you are eating kway chap, you need the vinegary spicy chilli sauce!

2 ⭐ is a little harsh to be honest.. but I can't say 'its ok (3 ⭐). Duck meat was tough/ dry despite being the drumstick, the pork belly was decent but nothing to shout about. But I did enjoy the white rice doused in the duck sauce - got that nice old school flavor.

The kway chap set was reasonably priced at $4.50 as it consisted of thick cuts of large intestine, pork belly, tau pok, pig skin and an whole egg. The sauce over the ingredients was extremely tasty and had a great depth to it. The intestine and pork were chewy and not braised to softness as some may prefer. The kway was mediocre and bland. Disappointed that only disposable cutleries (chopsticks and spoon) were available. Also, only cash was accepted.

A very traditional style of Braised duck and Kway Chap. $6.50 Kway Chap including add on Duck meat. The black soy sauce seasoning is very thick like in the yesteryears cooking style. Meat is hard, not to my very liking, everything else is harder, the pork, the skin, the intestine, but it make eating this old style of a bygone era a come back. Judging by its queue, the store have a consistent followers. Overall it is not bad, and if yesteryears type of cooking is what you like, the ingredients are thick, you should drop by and take a bite.

Decided to give this Ah Heng Kway Chap a try after reading some reviews as they seems to be on almost everyone reviewer's top list... The verdict ? Disappointing The kway chap was not warm enough, and soup was quite bland. The dish dish itself was cold too, and strong raw smell especially from the intestines and skin. Singapore must be really short of kway chap stall to have this amongst the recommended list.

Very impressed with this old school Teowchew style duck rice. The braised sauce is very delicious and light. The meat and the sides are all very well marinated. Actually prefer this to ah Xiao duck rice ,another popular Teowchew braised duck rice. Duck drumstick with 2 eggs and a toufu cost $7.50. very reasonable!
