Hwee Carrot Cake

One of the best carrot cake that I have eaten. And nicely served in old enamel platea. The taste is comparable to a famous nearby carrot cake stall - the white version is even more tasty, to me. The young boss explained that he has changed the chilli recipe since he started. Well done! The taste has improved leaps and bounds since the start. Must try.

My favourite carrot cake! A little secret gem in katong. The Chef/owner is a young man whose skills and recipe is so so perfect that the consistency and taste of the carrot cake just hit the spot! At $2 per plate, it feels like we cheated the system. Such value for money and such a kind owner! You HAVE TO make the trip down for this!

Had a great experience there having such a special taste of traditional carrot cake. I liked the Ying-yang mixed carrot cake as for me im an indecisive person in choosing whether to eat black or white as i tried both before its so delicious. Instead of having a hard the to choose from black n white, thanks god that theres a ying-yang choice for me to eat for both white and black, this idea is superb. The chilli is BEST. Great chef young man having this skills is unbelievable. Keep it up. Will bring family and friends come back again.
