Teck Teochew Porridge

Shrinkflation ?:have been supporting this stall for almost ten yrs ( when it started), i almost order the same dish everytime until i notice the rice and ingredient was incredibly small portion. In fact i was about to walk off when i realise the people infront of me had incredibly small portion i have never seen before. But since she already call me ( my turn ) i just ordered. Look at the first pic 2 meat one vege 3.70 vs second pic 1 meat teo vege 2.80 which IS NOT from this stall , but from interchange level 1 stall. Look at how much difference in terms of portion. The chinese lady was de one serving. I going to interchange stall. Sorry. The rice they serve was not even full , chicken meat only 4 piece and mince meat cut hybhalf from usual portion

Came over for dinner at a Saturday night and there was no crowd. Ordered their porridge with sides like bean curd, stewed bean skins, sweet sour pork, stir fried green vegetables, fried batang fish and steamed otah fish cake. Price was $26 for 5. Overall ambience was quite cozy and clean for a kopitiam. Foodwise was quite authentic and taste okay. Not mind blowing. Service was prompt and good especially the old uncle. Overall a good dining experience for the price point, ambience and taste.
