Texas Chicken

One of the not so good Texas Chicken outlet in Singapore. The chicken is very oily and the food is not very fantastic. Very limited seating when there are events held at Singapore Expo. I took a napkin and wiped the chicken meat and the napkin was yellow in colour, stained with oil. I hope the management will take notice and inform the chef about this. Disclaimer! This review is based from my 2018 Experience. The management may have changed and food quality may have improved.

Staff friendly. But there is no ice!? Maybe the ice maker is down. Was the mgt notified and should have act on it. Aircon also really not working as it is really warm and stuffy! Even the Texas staff are sweating it out. Mgt pls review the working environment of your staff working for you. There was a fly in the restaurant too.

Way to expensive for the price. Digital menu disappeared way too fast so that they could show some animation to advertise 1 dish. It was impossible to read more than 4 options before they disappeared. Not to mention, they kept their retractable shelters retracted even in the rain which caused all their outdoor seating to be wet and unusable.

It is shame and half hearted that Texas chicken stop giving drinking straws. It remove the joy of drinking soft drink, with the icy drink numb your lips and hurt your sensitive teeth. And also for take away order, How am I going drink in car ? Don’t get me wrong. I support green earth. Texas chicken , if u want to be kind to green earth, then u should do it with full effort. Stop plastic bag. Stop plastic drink cover and container. Stop plastic cutlery. Stop using plastic table and chair. Don’t be half hearted. It is shame on Texas Chicken. It is all about profit. Why? Because it cost more to give paper bag, to wash metal cutlery, paper container, and wood or quartz table top. For straw, it save cost for them. Shame
