First time here with a friend that recommended! The 알밥 is good!! So is the kimchi fried rice (with cheese) as well. These dishes comes with the side dishes as well as the seaweed soup. Reminds me a little of Korea. The boneless garlic chicken taste good as well! Worth to try 👍🏻

Service was sub-par: Was not served water upon entry and throughout the entire meal. In fact none of the customers before and after me had water on their table which is unusual for a Korean restaurant. Had to get the menu on my own, ran out of rice at 720pm, opted for glass noodles given it would be a 30 min wait for rice. Food was nothing to shout about: Fried tofu banchan tasted slightly sour, kimchi was not seasoned well enough and slightly on the sour side which is fine for our hot climate. Chicken sundubu jijae was normal. Was left wondering if I should have gone to LPS for a cheap Korean meal or Telok Ayer for a more expensive but better Korean treat.

Had the beef belly sundubu! Quite yummy!! This set cost me abt $16. The cucumber, fried toufu and anchovie sides were goooood! But they only top up the kimchi side which I felt wasnt sweet enough. It wasnt too crowded on the friday night that I visited. Might be back for more!

Guess I am just not too much a jajangmyeon fan, can’t tell between a good one or not. Springy noodles with black bean sauce with umami flavour. Was on the pricey side of 15 sgd after service charge and I don’t quite feel satisfied after whooping this down after gym. Cosy little place - will come back to try their kimchi soup instead next time.

This is my first time trying jangjangmeong so I'm not sure how it's supposed to taste like for most people but my experience was as such: Noodle sauce was not starchy or thick and gets runny too quickly and overtime became soupy. Its neither too sweet or salty for me so it's perfect. Generous chunk of beef in the sauce. The banchan was not very tasty for me. One of the fritter was so cold it is hard as rock. The kimchi was bland. But the sesame cucumber is nice. Otherwise, for the price point I expect better.

Their jajangmyeon is REALLY bad. Bentos are so-so and quite pricy. You can get better Korean food just a few streets away.

Top marks for authentic Korean food, service and ambience. Tried the beef jigae set & ginger/lemon tea - very good.
