First time trying out this stall that sell old school Hokkien style Zhichar, food is pretty good and offers generous portion. The prawn rolls was pretty good, hot plate tofu was delicious but a bit too oily. The 2 vegetable dish was fine as well. Would come back again to try their other dishes such as the claypot liver.

A very traditional hawker zi char shop with special dishes . Wok fire is good. Try their, signature mee swa dish like mee swa stew 面线糊 or fried mee swa. They even have fried bai guo 炒白果 on the menu. Rather satisfy old school flavour.

Ordered sweet and sour pork rice, tasted horrible. Sauce is like tomato sauce with sugar and it’s so salty. The rice is chicken rice.. so weird. It taste bad for $5. Sad

Very good old school tze char. Portions were big and value for money. Stall owners are very friendly. They sometimes have chicken rice too! Best combo ever!

31st Jul 2020 1330 hours i Went to eat chili crab with my father which i not frequent to chuan loo bee, but has patronize annually. We selected a 1.1 kg crab , but Eating halfway we were surprise one of the claw is rotten. I complain to the chef And he said he not sure why it happened. Then i asked then can it be eaten? He paused And offered a refund , eventually six dollars off from original 50 dollArs. How can a crawl be fresh and the other rotten? I suspect he switches the crab i selected with other crabs. Please highlight to me if it is possible that a living crab can have a rotten craw. If i just eat this craw without looking i confirm will be hospitalised

One advise: Do not order from this shop. It took me more than an hour of waiting and the shop seems like didn't bother to make my food. I have reminded them for a few times. I noticed that they skipped my food for 'other' customers who ordered after me. I suspect that they make food for those who order a lot first. If you do not mind waiting for non-existent queue, feel free to spend time. The food is just ok, might as well try out nearby stalls. Those stalls taste really good and with better service.
