Jeju Kitchen

Wanted to try the food at Jeju kitchen months ago when it was opened at waterway point. The queue at this restaurant is usually long so be early if you don’t line to wait in the queue. I was there early so I am able to get a table really fast. The food st this Korean restaurant is very fusion style so don’t expect those traditional Korean food. The taste the customer service is not out of the world but is acceptable if you just want to try out the food. The price of the food is like most average Korean restaurant, not very expensive but they charge 50 cents for every cup of tap drinking water. Will I revisit? Maybe but surely I will bring my own water bottle.

I went with my colleagues on lunch time. This was the 1st time we try Jeju Kitchen in Northpoint and the foods are recommended especially the 'Chicken Galbi Wok' nice match with white rice. I love the carrots so much with sweet of taste. The kimchi soup was taste good but the meat served in small portion. We decided to have our dessert can share together after the meal. The staff was friendly to introduce their Bingsu and of course we chose 'Mango Almond Bing' in the end cause majority of us love Mango!! Good experienced in 1st time and I will come again with my family members next time!

Order at 0807pm, serve at 0847pm and then serve wrong order. Redo takes only 14min. Makes u wonder y. - Staff likes to shout Annyeonghaseyo and Kamsahamnida like nobody business. Ok but place is already so noisy with conversation and music. - Likes to shift people around to accomodate bigger crowd, nothing wrong but luckily never kena me. No shouting. Pro: Inside aircon mall. Serving time was fast. Cons: Becareful of broken shell in seafood soup.

branch at nex. Ordered the octopus cake, ginseng chicken and jjampong. Octopus cake - thin slices and resembles ngoh hiang. Sauce was salty without being spicy. Was also too oily. Ginseng chicken - acceptable. Soup was subtle but better than jjampong. Jjampong - soup was spicy, but devoid of seafood taste. Octopus was rubbery and tasteless...Manna story does much better jjampong with a few dollars more Pros - dishes came quick and attentive service

Delights from Jeju Korea! Love the heavenly running egg over beef rice. Love the red date teas. Love the ginseng chicken. Freshly prepared healthy ingridients with tender loving caring skillful cooking and professional warm services. Conveniently located in the neighbourhood hartland malls of Northpoint City next to MRT station and bus interchange with plenty of dinning shopping banking library postage community centre cinemas supermarkets entertainment and amenities nearby. Friendly cosy comfy welcoming ambience for romantic intimates groups students tourists expats locals visitors and families.

Tried it at Nex. The reviews are true. The order for the table beside me are wrong, they ordered a pork one but was given beef. I waited 17 minutes for the food to come. Pretty standard, but I can believe the others saying their food is slow to come. The beef is good, but the fried rice is pretty meh. Overall, definitely gonna come back and try other menu.
