Decent old school style Teochew porridge. Offers a good variety of dishes. The otah is one of the better dishes, braised duck is great too. Great braised sauce that goes well with the porridge. Comfort food. Opens till late.

Most of the items are super salty ( for a moment I will think these are soaked in salt before cooking, LOL), these salty are not able to cover by you plain porridge. But beside that service is prompt and friendly

Not for the faint hearted; if you are not prepared, you'll be hard pressed to choose from the smorgasbord of dishes!
It is de rigueur to have a fish ordered with your Teochew porridge and when you ran out of porridge water, just ask for a bowl of it & it will come piping hot (free) to keep your porridge meal warm again.
There is a cooler aircon area inside of the weather here too humid for the meal. Enjoy.

I’m a fan of the Upper Serangoon branch but this one was disappointing. The Ikan Bilis and Nuts were stale and not crunchy at all. And the variety was so limited later into the night maybe cos this outlet has less customers. I couldn’t find a nice piece of fish to order….
