Udders Ice Cream

Went here earlier. (Saturday around lunch). Nice decor. Love that they offer this big waffle cone. No dine in customer earlier. Most customers that were there was having takeaways. We ordered awesomely chocolate and cookies and cream. Both ice creams were great. They also offer local flavored ice cream like chendol. But what struck me more about the place was the decor. It's quite funny. It was very creative. I'm curious about their other branches now. Found one near me. Might go there soon.

Visited Udders at noon and theres a lot of seats. Came here specially to try out the coconut sherbet and the Mango Sorbet. Preferred the Mango as it was not too sour. The coconut was very refreshing but the large chunky bits of coconut was a little too big and did not go well with the otherwise smooth coconut sherbet. Still delicious though and Udders still allows for free tasting and the decor in this branch is pretty hilarious.

Went to the bukit timah branch today after our lunch. The shop decor was so cute, with many comical "in case of emergency...break glass" boxes, we couldn't help but have to "read" all of them. Love the ice-cream too! I especially love my Tipsy Cookie flavour which is cookies and cream with rice wine! Thanks for the cooling afternoon!

I ordered multiple times from udders online store and the ice cream was delivered frozen in a cooler bag, with dry ice to keep it cooled. However, the store made a mistake and sent me 3 pints instead of 4 pints of ice cream. I informed them via email and they responded promptly, the missing pint was dispatched by the store using express delivery. The ice cream itself is tasty, as what you would experience in store.

Quite sometime ago, and for a long time, there was a branch in the east and I visited often. Since they closed that branch, I haven’t visited in the longest time. Recently after dinner somewhere nearby, I Google them and found this branch pretty near to my dinner location prior and was excited and insisted to my friends that we should go as they have the best (and I missed) alcohol ice-cream. Upon arrival, we were glad to have found a table for our group and the male staff was very quick in setting it up for us. We ordered two waffles with 4 ice-cream scoops of 4 different kind of alcohol totalling $27+. While my friend found the alcohol strong, but I do find that comparing to the past, wasn’t as strong as before. Before we left, one of their special flavour caught my friend attention and he decided to purchase one tub to bring home. I followed him to the counter and asked the female staff if we could try a sample , and she replied in a very fierce, loud, and tactless tone saying ‘we don’t allow’ samples . Alright, no big deal but perhaps in a lighter tone with better choice of words like ‘due to covid….we no longer provide samples’, ‘I’m afraid we have cease samplings due to…..’ see no need to say sorry as clearly not her fault but sounds much nicer to the customers’ ears.

I must say they have delicious and mouth watering ice cream. The cafe serves classic ice cream on waffles and local flavours. They offer a selection of unique ice cream flavours like Kit Kat Bites and Honeycomb with Snickers and mars. The decor is enchanting as well, I must say it really has a humorous side to it as well as lures the customers in. Another important factor is that their ice cream does not contain egg. They have made it vegan friendly and locally exported. Overall ,it is a great ice cream parlour/cafe.
