Venchi

Ordered the regular size which came with 3 different flavours. I chose the pistachio, hazelnut chocolate and dark chocolate (can’t remember the exact names) All the flavours were great as they were strong in flavour and had a chewy/creamy texture. Can definitely tell that the ingredients used are of top quality. However, the price was definitely much higher than what a normal scoop would cost at $10 for the regular cup. I would still say that it is one of the best gelato I’ve had thus far.

I used to make ice-cream from scratch and trust me when I say I am very discerning towards the quality of ice-cream so to my surprise, even though I have never heard of Venchi but knew it was an Italian artisanal gelato with quite a history, I wanted to taste it for myself and oh my it's pretty good! I would totally go for the 3 flavour scoops if my stomach is able to take the chills only because I get to taste so many flavors at one time and it's rather decently priced! I have tried almost all of their flavors available and I can't quite get enough of them. If it's your first visit, get the pistachio and caramel toffee...and chocolate!

I went to Venchi in MBS to purchase a dark Easter egg chocolate. The only price tag displayed was attached to the egg itself and it read €23.50. I did not think in my wildest dream that a chocolate egg sold for €23.5 in Europe would be sold at $90 SGD. If you are up for a legalized robbing of your customers, at least consider putting a clear price tag on it.
