5 The Moments Cafe

Very cool and nicely furnished cafe. However staff have to take note of safe distancing within the cafe. Customers crowded at the ice cream counter deciding on ice cream flavor for their waffles. The staff said there is no ice cream menu at the cashier, perhaps they should create one or have extra menus on the table or via app? Too much sauce used on the waffles, so it's a tad too salty. Do take note that dining is restricted to an hour only, but it's good enough desserts.

Nice place to chill in a shop with interesting decoration if you don't care about the 1 hour dine in, $18 for two scoops and a waffle and lackluster flavors due to no tasting allowed. Earl Grey was way too milky and sweet, to the point I thought it was Thai milk tea instead. Banana wasn't great either and Matcha Waffle just tasted like white chocolate with all the small white chocolate chips scattered all over. Won't be returning as there's a better alternative just a min walk away.

Nostalgic with a easy on the ears atmosphere. Ice cream is above average with a good variety of flavours with interesting choices. Waffles unfortunately were a letdown with very "premix" vibe and did not have the fluffiness that I've enjoyed elsewhere. Service was good with friendly staff that were more than happy to explain the different waffles available.

2nd time visit to this cafe, was there on an eve of public holiday about 8pm plus and it was full house, might need to wait for a while for a table. Great selection of gelato flavors which you can choose to have them with waffles or lava cake. The gelato was nice, very creamy and good flavor. Cafe design is very cute, good for Instagram pics. Nice cafe to chill and chit chat with friends.

Charcoal waffle with brownie ice cream was incredible! Most definitely one of the best waffles I've had. Nicely crisp outside, fluffy on the inside with just the right amount of bite. Waffle was not sweet, allowing for the eggy flavour of the batter to complement the ice cream. Cider float was a first for me. Skeptical at first but it was delicious. Cafe is going for the old school eclectic vibe which is cool, altho lighting could be a little better to look more upbeat. Half filled on a Sunday evening around 7pm. Def a new fav dessert stop in the area. Will be back for the coffees.
