The grouper belly congee was so good with the smoky smell from frying-wok. Fish were fresh and tender. Peanut and sesame sauce was a bit too sweet.

Super blown away by the porridge here. We ordered their Garoupa Belly Porridge and wow, I think it might just be the best porridge I have ever had. The texture was incredibly smooth, served with fresh strips of vegetables, extremely generous portions of its fish and the porridge had such an addictive charred taste. Also had their weekend breakfast set of roasted duck and preserved vegetables chee cheong fun and yuan yang. I didn’t really fancy the texture of the rice noodle skin but it definitely is interested. Love this unassuming little restaurant.

Chanced by here on a sat morning as we need to run some errands nearby. My fiancée said there's a HK cafe nearby so we decided to try. Fortunately there was no queue so we just walked in directly. We see that after our timing many queuing outside for quite long, not sure if they dabao or what. Anyway key recommendation is their porridge. Our first time here so we didn't try many other dishes but we ordered century egg and leaned meat + normal egg porridge ($13) but super worth it cause of the huge bowl. Adding a you tiao is a MUST because the porridge is so so smooth and silky together with the fried cripsy dough is just PERFECT. I am personally a porridge lover so I hold quite high standards for porridge. This mui kee is one of the best tbh. Their yuan yang is ok soso but milk tea is very smooth and silky. Their groupa noodle not bad although noodle is regular wanton mee noodle kind if they can incorporate abit of "lenu chef noodle" concept then perfect already. We ordered groupa noodle soup so the soup tasted bit sweet think cause of the fish. If the fish can remove bone that the best but no perfect dish in the world i guess. Lastly their cheung fun we ordered prawn paste, not bad my fiancée likes it when dip with the "lao gan ma" look alike chilli while i prefer to dip w traditional soy sauce so its up to individual. The porridge so watery silky you can see from my photos. I plan to bring more of my friends and family before or during cny. Good luck to this shop and please continue to maintain your professionalism and quality standard thanks! Jia you mui kee!

Always visit Mui Kee when ever i go Hongkong. This is the first time i visit Mui Kee in SG. Ordered the pork innards porridge. Really love the aromatic of the porridge. Porridge texture really good, smooth and silky. Fresh ingredients. Also ordered their weekend set breakfast, fried fritters cheung fun that comes a drink. Cheung fun texture is not bad. But, the Hongkong milk tea is abit different from the actual Hongkong style. Good food and friendly service. Taste is close to Mui Kee in Hongkong. Sure will visit again. Worth eating. Highly recommended.

2nd time returning to Mui Kee. Ordered the congee with stomach, intestine, pork ball and lean pork. Congee was really smooth and pure. Also ordered the Claypot liver, no gamey taste and is very tender. Wanton was super crispy and the Beancurd roll was nice too.

Much prefer their porridge than AOne which is super overpriced. Mui Kee garoupa congee only $11.80. Add-on $4.80 for yummy meatballs. A big plate of yummy crispy dough fritters only $2.80 (cheaper than Song Fa!). Century eggs also $2.80 but average. Fried salt & pepper chicken is a Must order at $11, crispy & 😋. Hokkaido scallop noodle is sashimi grade at $24, super yummy! Drinks only at $2.80. Highly recommended 👍but be prepared to queue. Will be back! 😋

It’s really great to have this authentic cuisine that the owner to share with us in Singapore 🇸🇬 love the century egg and the smoothness of the congee. I am not a fan of Chee Cheong Fan but I really enjoy their favour fully duck with silken Chee Cheong Fan 👍🏻 The 牛腩 serving is quite a lot and is really goes well with porridge and noodles! The seating area is limited but good food worths the wait! 🤩

The congee is very nice with very nice texture, very smooth. It’s not cheap but hardly to find similar quality of congee in Singapore. The surprise is the side dish. The fish cake is so good, and the clam sauce is the same as those in Hong Kong.
