A food paradise mall with so many buffet restaurants - Tung Lok, Kiseki, Ban Heng, Shabu Sai and many others all in one mall. The Shabu Sai outlet here also offers a value meal for $9.99++ on weekday lunch which is not available in most other outlets. I like the unique elevator lifts here which are made of glass that enable you to see through. There is also a very long escalator in this building which takes you from L4 to L7. (see attached photo) Not many people dared to take this escalator because it stretches so long and it is overlooking the outside of the building. It is actually quite a daunting experience.

Designed by DP Architects at the site of former Orchard Road open air car park, the industrial looking Orchard Central opened in 2009 with 12 floors above ground and 2 basement levels. Home to the 24/7 DON DON DONKI and UNIQLO’s flagship stall, there are many unique shops and restaurants in this mall but no luxury brands like at Takashimaya, Paragon or ION. Unlike traditional mall designs, a central atrium is omitted and this is really confusing and difficult to locate shops. It also features a "super escalator", which takes pedestrians on the street level directly up to Level 4. The mall is served by a total of 52 escalators (including 6 super escalators) and 12 glass elevators.

Excellent shopping with multistorey of restaurants serving local and international cuisines with great views and opinions. Love the romantic coffee tea varieties of beverages and pastries. Conveniently located at neighbourhood of luxurious shopping restaurants hotels resorts cinemas entertainments groceries sundries Electric Electronic services and amenities nearby. Walking distance covered pathway to Somerset MRT. Friendly fast attentive cosy comfy welcoming ambience for romantic intimates groups students tourists Expats locals visitors and families.

Oh my dinner at Tung Lok Peking Duck at Orchard Central was quite disappointing this evening. The service staff was a little rude when serving dishes n clearing our table. Looked like in a foul mood. Otherwise food continued to attract us back here. Hope if the management could read this and would impress upon their staff to portray a right friendly attitude.
