Suage Hokkaido Soup Curry

2 stars for the original fall off the bone drumstick, and I think I am being pretty generous here. I was back in Singapore and wanted to get something soupy and spicy to burn off the flu I caught, but what I got was dried minestrone with chicken drumstick. Honestly, I can take really spicy, so to be fair, I got the level 10, only to find tomato puree in my sauce (yes sauce, not soup). I was ready to have an unauthentic experience, having tried the real deal in Sapporo before, but this apple fell toooooooo far from the tree. Will not visit again, nor will I recommend. (P.S I still have no idea why the lemon on my rice plate? Make it yellow-er to get closer to the original? Original photos attached too, for comparison.) (P.P.S, the one i ordered in hokkaido was level 4 spicy and I was sweating)

Not too crowded compared to the other food joints here in Jewel. Good table service. We see there's only one guy running around to take orders and serve....he's also the cashier and also clears and cleans the tables. Same guy helps out in the kitchen too. Very hard working young man Also only see one guy in the kitchen....he helps out with serving too....both guys must be exhausted by the time dinner service is over. Overall experience was ok. Price-wise, we think it's reasonable given the location, etc. The dishes we ordered were also delicious. As far as Japanese curries go....we enjoyed it too. Our compliments and best wishes to these couple of hard working young men...... We'd come back again if it helps to keep it afloat....

Japanese savoury "curry" soup, pairs well with rice. Can choose spicy level from 1 to 20. 7~9 is the sweet spot (not spicy, but taste nice). Although the "curry" taste is mild, but the soup is delicious tasting. There is also option to add cheese ontop of your rice for $1.50. Whole eatery only had 2 staff, so service was quite underwhelming.
