This squeaky clean, warm and friendly takeout shop has the best "home cooked" selection of take home meals. The quality and generous portions truly rival other prepared meals that i have seen. The choices of entrees are delicious and the variety of veggie choices is super healthy and extensive. They even deliver to many places. Their individual chicken pies are delicious, too!

Great value for money and good service. Ordered two turkey dinners and they were delicious. We both have large appetites so I wondered if there would be enough food but the meals were a decent size. Follow up call to confirm our order was appreciated and meals were ready when we arrived to collect. If you want no fuss meals at home you should try Chef On The Run!

Very good place to get a decent meal without paying a lot. Can't go wrong: ENTRÉE ONLY – $8.25 MAKE IT A MEAL – $11.50 INCLUDES ENTRÉE, CHOICE OF 1 STARCH & 2 VEG New menu every week. We visited to take out near the end of the day, so not everything on the menu was available. There's a place for a few people to eat in, but the place is more for take out. Good quality food; the portion is okay. The meals were cold (they were prepared the day before), so we made arrangements at the hotel we were staying for plates to heat the meals (the meals come in aluminum containers that you don't use in a microwave). Many other restaurants in the area are quite expensive or are fast food.

It's a little off the beaten track, but it's worth trying out. I've been there a few times recently. We got some great custom made sandwiches. On one trip, we got some of their meat pies. They were really awesome. They have a good supply of meals: both fresh and frozen. They also have a nice little of grocery section of deli staples.
