Great little gem for breakfast! The place was busy, but our server was friendly and didn’t miss a beat. Food was great! Place was clean, and quiet. Such a refreshing change to be able to eat and talk to your table companion without shouting over loud music blasting in the background. Skip the chains in Cheyenne, and head to Sidney for breakfast!

When we walked in, the place was packed. So of course we thought Hey this is a great place to eat. After the waitress finally came over a mover and give us strings and took our order we waited an hour yes one hour for our food to show up. They were both very simple breakfast meals. And they were cold very cold like they had been sitting around for half an hour.. The food was bland there was no taste at all. Throughout the years I have always told people the best place to eat is in small town cafes. The food has to be good in order for them to survive. This is the exception to the rule

Chronicles of the Wildman I ride my motorcycles around and review diners. This was my farthest one yet at nearly 400 miles round trip (greetings from the Greater Denver area). I visited Grandma Jo's on 8 Oct 21. As I walk in, it's neat and clean. It's split into two areas and I sit in the corner of the bar side. The tables, chairs, and bar stools are clean and in a good state of repair. Now, on to the food! I got the #3, country fried steak. The hashbrowns and over easy eggs were expertly prepared and I rather enjoyed them. The chicken fried steak was a little to be desired. The breading was not crispy (I'm used to it being crispy) and the gravy was bland. HOWEVER, a little salt and pepper made it better. This is all about preference; I'm sure many like this meal. The coffee was good with no complaints. The mug had Grandma Jo's face (I presume) on it. Prices were right where I like them, (under $10 for breakfast). Overall, I had a good experience. I would visit again.

Great food with very friendly staff. We were told by a locals it's the best food in town. Home style cooking and hospitality at its finest. Worth a stop if you are driving through on interstate 80. Highly recommended!

We love this place, grandma food style, let me tell you something, but the coffee is not quite strong, and I'm not giving 4 stars just for this little issue for me, but hey, the food is great. And service as well very good 👍
