Review Willy's Steakhouse Grill & Sushi Bar - Shrewsbury

Overall, good food. I recommend the side dishes: creamed spinach and the Parm fries. I was suprised to see Korean style short ribs on the menu and was tempted to order it for a second... but didn't because I didn't want to be disappointed. It is a bit... unorthodox to say the least to see it on the menu. The filet mignon was cooked as ordered and delicious. The cakes were on point. The dynamite sticks was a bit too sweet for me, but to each their own. My only pointer for improvement is for the staff to refill the tables water. Had plenty of wine, but if the water glass is empty just refill it. :)

We celebrated our anniversary at this restaurant on a Saturday night. The food was amazing! Every dish was perfectly prepared and the presentation was very nice. The service was not great. Our waitress had a large party where she spent the majority of her time. While we were ordering she was distracted and looking at her larger party. The restaurant was LOUD and we could barely hear ourselves talk. I will try it again on a slower night only because the food is so good.

I am out of town and met a local bud here for a special business dinner meal. Service by Matt from the beginning was impeccable! We (3) were left to have great conversation and were not rushed. Apps of a delicious Sushi roll and something else I don't remember (😜) were good till the entrees arrived. Sword fish and NY strip were well received, but my my Ribeye was mediocre. All in all, a great meal with great company. I would recommend this establishment and will check it out again!!

Wicked good! I have to update my review and say that lastnight was one of the best meals I've had at Willy's; the steak tips with brandy cream sauce and onion strings 🤤. I usually go with the filet, but I wanted to switch it up and I'm so glad I did! Always a great place to go when you want to stay local and eat a good steak dinner. When the Sushi bar was open, this was one of the best places to go. Comfortable atmosphere and VERY accommodating to food allergies. We go there quite often and absolutely love it! **EDIT! celebrated my birthday there tonight with my husband, two daughters and a couple friends; it was fantastic! The table enjoyed a few appetizers, some sushi creations from the amazing Kenzo and of course delicious entrées! Our friends, who live 1.5hr away were thoroughly impressed by the atmosphere, sushi and food - they already want to make plans to go back! Thanks for having us and being a part of my birthday celebration and memories, Willy's!! I enjoyed a new dish tonight; the Boursin Statler Breast of Chicken with garlic mashed is. AH-MAZE-ING! My husband and friends enjoyed sushi from the ever-amazing Kenzo!

My partner and I went here for the first time to celebrate Valentine’s Day and let me just say I was beyond pleased! The food was amazing, the staff was extremely friendly and dedicated to their tables. Our waiter, Jake, went above and beyond and made us feel right at home. 10/10 would recommend!

YUM! The tequila fish was AMAZING! Loved the sauce. Waiter was so kind and attentive. Garlic mashed potatoes were amazing. Service was great, cool atmosphere. 100% recommend!

We just ate at willy's tonight party of 4. We Made the reservation 6pm about 2 1/2 weeks ago. We were celebrating 2 milestone birthdays so it was a special evening for us all. We ate here once before and loved it so recommended it to our friends. The food was wonderful ! We had cocktails appetizers salad entree and dessert. We all enjoyed the perfectly prepared food . It was a great evening until the entire experience came to a screeching halt when a server ( not our waitress) came to us moments after finishing dessert and said please pay now for your meal we need the table!And just like that our vibrant conversation and special evening ended ! Apparently the meter was ticking and time was up our $360.00 table rental "here is your hat and coat come again when u cant stay so long! For that reason we will not be back! And can't give the 4 stars this restaurant deserves.

Everything about this spot was just a delight. From the charming owner and staff, to the incredibly vast and varied menu, there was something to please every palate. The owner and chefs keep things fresh and fun for regulars and newcomers alike. I would head back in a heartbeat! Don’t miss Willy’s if you are ever in the neighborhood!
