Best spinach enchiladas I’ve ever eaten! What flavor!!! Chips were light, not greasy. Good portion sizes, friendly and attentive staff. Wonderful first visit with many more to come.
I absolutely loved it! Steven and I went for lunch and it was one of the best Mexican food I've ever had. They have two different kinds of salsa and you get your own little bowl of chips! The case that we had was one of the best that I have had. I think Steven got the carne asada but I could be wrong on what it is called but it was really really good! I got the pork tacos with grilled onions in guacamole on top. It came with rice and beans. I was really upset when I couldn't finish my second Taco because of all of the chips, salsa in queso at ate. Lol
Will tell family and friends about this place and we'll definitely go back.
Amazing food, great cocktails, attentive service, and comfy atmosphere. Highly recommend the sampler platter if you’ve never been. Best of everything!
Chef Gabriel's restaurant in Shreveport is a true jewel in our city. It's a chance to experience beautifully presented dishes designed by a master chef. They taste even better than they look thanks to the farm-fresh ingredients and produce sourced from local farms. For a true treat, go for brunch. My favorite dish is the huevos rancheros.
Fresh, great tasting food from local farmers. The tortilla soup was the best I’ve ever had. Love the salsa, salsa verde, and queso. Beautiful decor. Friendly staff.

Fresh tasty food, attentive service and a relaxing atmosphere are what keep us coming back to El Cabo Verde. We have eaten our way through the menu and have yet to be disappointed. Hands down a 'Go To' for locals and visitors who have discerning palate and a global conscience. I would give it more stars if I could.
I loved the food and service. Very friendly and accommodating! I am on a very strict diet and they made a special plate that followed my restrictions and still tasted and looked wonderful!
Amazing! I had the Enchiladas Verde. The ingredients tasted so fresh, and the rice was unique and among my top 5 favorites. Great atmosphere and friendly staff.
It was an amazing lunch. The Queso and guacamole is off the chart great! People are so friendly and the atmosphere is really so nice. We will be back. Love the fresh and gluten free food. If there was 10 stars you would get it from us.
Everything was amazing. The food, service, even the price points weren't to bad. if I had to make a complaint, it might be portion size. but that's because I had no left overs, and I sure wouldn't have minded a little of that today!!
I really enjoyed our visit here. Sat outside and the service was great. We had margaritas and they were awesome. Food was great. We basically had appetizers but they were delish, especially the queso. And I can't forget that Shots of patron. The shot glasses were chilled as well as the patron. Biggest shot I have ever had. They don't have nachos on the menu but when we ask they said they would make them and ask what we wanted on them. Great food, great service and great atmosphere. Will def go back
It was great as always!! Great atmosphere combined with great people and great food!! Highly recommend trying it if you haven't.
Organic, locally sourced and gluten-free! Thank you for giving Shreveport this healthy option for delicious Mexican food!
Excellent mexican food! Great place with wonderful people!!! Love it!
Best guacamole I’ve had and the ceviche was amazing. The margarita was spot on as well!! So good all the way around.
I was in Shreveport for approximately 3 weeks for business and this place was hands down, top two restaurants we visited. Servers were very quick with having chips and salsa as soon as we sat down, drinks were reasonably priced and SO delicious, food was fresh. I got the fish dinner, plantains, and shrimp salad and would go back to order the same exact thing if I could. The fish was a little salty, but that is my personal taste, I'm sure it would have been fine for most people. They also had patio seating which would be cute for warmer days. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would.
I don't have any real complaints about this place, but no real praises either. It's a beautiful setting and seems to be the trendy Mexican restaurant in town. I felt like we were supposed to be absolutely astonished from all the hype, but the food was less than impressive. The presentation was good, and the food wasn't bad either. The service was fine.
Good place for lunch. Outdoor seating and bright interior. Staff was friendly - food was fresh and came out fast. The salsa is heated - neat detail - I preferred the verde salsa. Beans, rice, verde enchilada were great - finished the entire plate. Definitely worth checking out!
Everything on the menu is good. The chef is amazing and makes inventive and authentic cuisine. All of the ingredients are fresh. The staff is nice and the atmosphere is pleasant. It gets packed quickly at meal time so get there early. There is outside seating, but in the summer it might be a bit too hot.
This place has an extremely good fresh taste in every plate we tried. The pork tamale and the camarones al mojo were so full of flavor, that they were exquisitely tasteful. The fried plantains dress up any plate choice. We will definitely be back soon.

Food was awesome as were the server's. Atmosphere is cozy and warm. Adela is so sweet and caring. Being handicapped I am truly impressed with there help and gives me confidence to go out.
My food was amazing. I had the Chicken Enchiladas, my daughter had the kids chicken taco. The meat in her taco was so tender you wouldn't need teeth to eat it! The only down side is that my wife's vegetarian dish had meat with it. But if you're not vegetarian this is a 5/5.
