El Cabo Verde - Shreveport - Photo album

I was in Shreveport for approximately 3 weeks for business and this place was hands down, top two restaurants we visited. Servers were very quick with having chips and salsa as soon as we sat down, drinks were reasonably priced and SO delicious, food was fresh. I got the fish dinner, plantains, and
First of all, people are so hype about this place due to amount of good reviews. Customer service was phenomenal. The horchata tastes better than the agua de Jamaica. I would recommend the Sopas for a starter. I honestly forgot what my meal was called but it made me sick to the stomach. I don’t have
I don't have any real complaints about this place, but no real praises either. It's a beautiful setting and seems to be the trendy Mexican restaurant in town. I felt like we were supposed to be absolutely astonished from all the hype, but the food was less than impressive. The presentation was good,
Good place for lunch. Outdoor seating and bright interior. Staff was friendly - food was fresh and came out fast. The salsa is heated - neat detail - I preferred the verde salsa. Beans, rice, verde enchilada were great - finished the entire plate. Definitely worth checking out!
Everything on the menu is good. The chef is amazing and makes inventive and authentic cuisine. All of the ingredients are fresh. The staff is nice and the atmosphere is pleasant. It gets packed quickly at meal time so get there early. There is outside seating, but in the summer it might be a bit too
This place has an extremely good fresh taste in every plate we tried. The pork tamale and the camarones al mojo were so full of flavor, that they were exquisitely tasteful. The fried plantains dress up any plate choice. We will definitely be back soon. Christian (Nov 2021)
Food was awesome as were the server's. Atmosphere is cozy and warm. Adela is so sweet and caring. Being handicapped I am truly impressed with there help and gives me confidence to go out.
My food was amazing. I had the Chicken Enchiladas, my daughter had the kids chicken taco. The meat in her taco was so tender you wouldn't need teeth to eat it! The only down side is that my wife's vegetarian dish had meat with it. But if you're not vegetarian this is a 5/5.
