They have an assortment of lovely delicious desserts. There is much to chose from. 100% vegetarian (naturally halal). No alcohol. Suitable for children. Staff are very friendly. They have sundaes, scoops of various gelato/ice cream/sorbet, chocolate brownie with custard, ice cream cone, various waffles/crepes/pancakes, crumbles and custard and maybe more. There's also a selection of drinks to choose from (hot and cold) including hot chocolate with cream, hot chocolate, fruit juices, sparkling pop, milkshakes and maybe more. Me and my dad visited them often. Greatly recommended and the best so far. So much better than Delightful Desserts further up the road. Thank you. Had a strawberries and cream waffle from here and have to say it was one of the best strawberries and cream waffle compared to other places I have been to. The strawberries tasted fresh and we're soft in texture - a big difference as other places tend to use lower quality strawberries. The waffle was cooked to perfection and not overcooked like a few places I had been to in the past. This dessert was worth every penny and highly recommended!!!

Full marks to ice gem and the staff. Beautiful waffles and with them going the extra mile when we told them it was our daughters birthday, they went out to the shop and brought candles, bringing over a gorgeous (and huge) slice of cake for her to blow out the candles and take home. Highly recommend a visit to ice gem in shirley. Next time we are back in brum we will 100% be coming back. Thank you ice gem guys

The staff here were very helpful and friendly. They talk politely and tried their best to offer good customer service. The food quality exceeds the expected and is made with love and care. One of the staff members, Bibi, acted very professionally and tried her best to make sure we enjoyed the dessert to the fullest. Deserves over 5 stars. Exceptional service.

Friendly staff and nice atmosphere inside the shop so you can sit in and eat your dessert there if you want to. We ordered a sorbet and asked for different toppings and sauces which they happily added. It's a little pricey, but the dessert was presented really nicely and tasted great. Lots to choose from, including ice creams, waffels, milkshakes and hot drinks so they have something for everyone. Ideal if you've had a meal out in Shirley and fancy a sweet treat afterwards.

So I'm on a mission to lose some weight and get healthy, my daughter was adamant she wanted to come here for dessert. We heard it was under new management, so we were a little apprehensive. However, I enjoyed it before, but I used always get a waffle. We walked in, and the new owner was there to greet us. He told me straight away there weren't any waffles available, and to have some would be a half-hour wait. The waffles were the reason we went. I almost walked out of there, but my daughter wanted the ice cream instead. So we were a group of 5. My children made their order and enjoyed it; the youngest one went for that blue ice cream. She enjoyed it but wasn't a fan of bits that were in it. The other three enjoyed their desserts. I thought I'd get a sundae; call it a proper cheat day (I have a lot of them). I got the chocolate sundae, and for once in my life, it was perfect. Not too sweet I felt sick, but just right so I could enjoy it and finish it off. Great value for money, and the customer service was flawless. I told my daughters to go make their orders, but the older 2 were being shy, so when I was sitting on the table asking one of them what they wanted, I repeated it loud enough the owner got the gist of what I was doing, and was in the ball. Really nice desserts, couldn't recommend it enough. Will be back maybe even tomorrow for a waffle. Just gotta watch those calories. Lol.

I took my son here for ice cream, we had a lovely welcome from the 2 staff members working on arrival. There was a huge choice of ice cream, sorbets, waffles, cakes and crepes and they all looked delicious! We sat inside and had our ice cream and sorbet and it was honestly top quality! I had a gorgeous coffee to finish made by a staff member, he bought it to my table after we sat down. The service was really good, food and drinks are excellent and it was clean and spacious inside the shop. Thanks so much, we will definitely be back again!
