Alcaliente - Shenandoah - Photo album

Stopped here for an impromptu lunch, and I saw it had mixed reviews. I ordered crispy tacos with cilantro lime rice and queso. Everything was wonderful, no complaints from me at all. I also received great service! I also LOVED the the fact that they have fresh salsa (not cooked & warm when brought t
I went with my family last night. This was tje worst of the worst. The fajitas had no seasoning. The red and green salsa where over salted and did not taste good. We ordered a Chile con queso and it was was super hard after 5 minutes of receiving it at table. The cilantro rice had a lot of oil at bo
I ordered the fajita burger and fries, the fajita meat was dry and the fries was not seasoned at all. My waitress was nice and very attentive! This restaurant only gets 1 star because of the waitress! They need a new chef and bartender because the Tropicana drink I ordered taste like ice!!!??
We went twice in one week, and our experience was outstanding both times! Excellent service, food, and drinks. We're hard to impress when it comes to Mexican food. The fajitas and enchiladas were wonderful. We'll definitely be regulars at Alcaliente's!
So far the food is outstanding. My wife and I have loved everything we have tried. Everything always tastes very fresh. They are never crowded, since they are fairly new. We walk right in and are seated right away, even on a Friday night. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

I guess they call it chihuahua cheese because of the wet dog aroma, which pairs well with burnt refried beans touched by an ungloved hand. Watch for typos on menues, price on bill and menues differ. Waitresses are attentive, I'd give them a tip or two.
