Very solid Tex Mex. Reminds me of some old school San Antonio style joints. One of the best Taco Al Carbon I've ever had. The cigarette smoke smell from the bar is a bit of an issue. Wish they would get their arms around that. It takes away from they joy of eating their food.
Wonderful job today handling a BIG crowd for Pattys 60th birthday party. And split checks! Awesome food as always! Been there before today, and while food always impressed me, was super impressed with how they handled LARGE party!!! Will totally be back!
The service was on point, the food was excellent, I almost got a tee shirt! I would recommend to anyone that loves Mexican food, oh and the price was right!
My go-to for excellent food, great drinks, and good service! Highly recommend!!
It was great food, great service and huge enchiladas. The best Charro beans I have ever had. Loved it!
As the saying goes, "Don't mess with Tex-Mex" and Casa Medina follows that religiously. Other pricier restaurants nearby must have not heard it because they can't touch the authenticity of the traditional Tex-Mex dishes here. Guadalajara, Lupe Tortilla, Chuy's, Pappasito's...forget them! Save your money and go to Casa Medina for good food, reasonable prices and excellent old-school service.
Friendly staff, great food! My family and I have been going there for years. They have accommodated many birthdays, baby showers and family get togethers. In fact, we are going there tonight !
While it may be cramped, Casa Medina has some of the best Mexican food in the area at a price that won't break the bank. Make sure you get there early or table may be hard to find. They also do not allow Smoking on the weekend anymore which is a big plus.
Love the place. Great food. Never have a empty glass of tea and the staff is awesome ....
We held a large event here (65-70 people). The management & staff were terrific to work with, rearranged the entire main dining room to make sure everyone could see the podium, provided sound system, even separate checks! I always like to support locally owned family businesses and this is one of the best. Good food, service and prices.
Good mexican food my favorite place to go in the spring woodlands area
The BEST Mexican food in the Woodlands! Always accommodating and super friendly! Love this place!
Some of the best Mexican food we have ever had. Service was awesome.
Might not be fancy, but they have delicious (and reasonably priced) drinks! Happy hour is generous as well. Good service and food without much of a wait at all.
Wow! Wow! Wow!
The food here is incredible!
Upon arrival, the chips and salsa arrived hot and fresh! The guacamole is well-seasoned and made fresh in house. For my meal, I had a Chile relleno and enchiladas—both super tasty, hot, and absolutely delicious!
I highly recommend this place—do not get scared off by its exterior. It is a wonderful, small, well-run local place!
Cheers!
The traffic was horrible but we were able to find a place to park. We were sat quickly for a party of seven even with five kids. The waitstaff was with us immediately. The food was fantastic. They were able to get us the kids food before our meal came. And it was all reasonably priced
First time here. I have been eating Mexican Food my whole life and this place had the best Anaheim enchiladas I have ever had. I could have cut the beef fajita with paper. Haha. The service was outstanding and the House Margarita on Happy Hour was on point and worth mentioning so much that I came back in to edit this review. I could not help but share this even though I noticed they had a lot of great reviews. If I would have guessed it was going to be so good I would have taken a picture of my plate because it was picture worthy.
The food and service was excellent period and i love the big menu!! Reasonable price on mostly all the food as well...No complaints will go back again and again when visiting area.
I'll be honest here....to me the food is average, it's good but doesn't really stand out amongst the countless Mexican restaurants I've visited over the last few years even. However, I do enjoy Casa Medina and it's bartenders and waitstaff every time I'm there. It's usually 4-5 times a year that I'll end up booked into a room at the Days Inn nextdoor and I pop in through casa Medina's rear entrance and sit at the bar and have some of the best margaritas in the area and great conversation with the bar staff and managers that somehow always greet me with a smile and then say goodbye as they watch me stumble back to the hotel ✌️😉😁👍
Wow. The food was so good here. I took my 11 year old very picky "ask a lot of questions what's in it" son and my 13 year old daughter. We shared the shrimp enchiladas and burrito California. There was plenty of food and both my kids were exclaiming how good it was. Delicate flavors melded well in each meal and the meat was seasoned so well.
4 stars only because the speed of service. We were seated quickly but it took quite a minute for the waitress to take our order.
Would definitely go back!!!
