Nice modern area with fireplace in the center. Love the oversized horse pictures on the wall. Kat was our server who had awesome recommendations and was so friendly. Started off with the crispy calamari with 3 sauces (thai chili sauce was the best) I got the scallops with rissoto 😍 the rice still had a little bite to it, scallops were perfectly cooked. Will definitely be back to try other options !

This place is great for lunch and dinner. One of our favorite date nights for me and my husband. The service and food are great. We sometimes do take out as well and have never been disappointed.
Wow, wow, wow! First visit but will by no means be my last! From the drinks to the appetizers to the entrées (no room for dessert), everything was spectacular! The shining star of the meal for me had to be the garlic mashed cauliflower served with the short ribs. I dare anyone to tell the difference between this and mashed potatoes!

My husband and I ate here for the first time. We both enjoyed the Barn Burger. The atmosphere is wonderful especially if you love horses. The walls are beautifully covered with photos of them. Service was good. The Tirimisu was homemade and so good with a touch of rum added. We will definitely be back when we are in the area.
Beautifully decorated inside which makes this spot more than just a restaurant. Ideal for even just hanging out with friends by their cute little fireplace setup or by their bar watching sports. Food is so delicious, and the ingredients all taste very fresh, vegetables bright and crisp with a nice crunch. Service with a smile too!
My mom and I stopped in for dinner the other night after shopping in the area. We looked at the menu online and were drawn in right away! They have something for everyone. We had an appetizer of the jumbo pretzel sticks, which was definitely a generous portion for just the two of us! The cheese sauce was delicious, and the mustard was strong but good. Super soft, perfectly salted pretzels that I would absolutely order again. My mom had the Chinese chicken salad, which she loved, and I also enjoyed my Mac and cheese. Our waiter was phenomenal from the beginning. He asked if it was our first time here, and after we told him that it was, he walked us through the menu and gave his recommendations and told us what dishes are popular. Our orders came out quickly, and he was attentive. I’ve always heard great things about Spotted Horse, and now I see why! They’re definitely up there with some of my other favorite restaurants in Shelton.
Mark is so accommodating and friendly. I have been here several times. The staff is great and never disappoint. I definitely recommend the overall experience. We also were so impressed by Billy Genario and the boys they are a very entertaining band. Food entertainment and service are 5 star.
You really can always count on spotted horse to be honest with you all. Its just a nice vibe inside and outside, welcoming staff, a lot of room, the food is absolutely incredible. Try one of the bowls, and try the vegetable spring rolls. Worth every penny
