I got the special which included a Cookie salad and half a sandwich for under $10. All the food tasted fresh.. restaurant with clean service was friendly .
This was a great place to grab lunch. The owner and all the staff were very friendly and outgoing, the food was great and quickly prepared. I enjoy the self-serve drink station and especially love the "serve yourself crouton" container by the register, it adds to a great salad.
They get very busy
I highly recommend this deli based on the food being delicious, portions are not too large or too small, the red onion salad dressing is awesome, nice small town atmosphere, and the cookies so are dang good. The place is kept very clean even during rush times. The owner is a great person to work for
It's a wonderful place for salads, soups, sandwiches, and yummy cookies! All of the foods I have tried are made fresh and taste great! The atmosphere is quaint, cozy, and very friendly. My hubby and I love the Chicago Street Deli in Shawnee! You will too!
A bit pricey for a deli shop, but if you get the "Happy Deal," it's well worth the cost. The cookies are very good, especially the pecan sugar. The soup with homemade croutons is terrific. As for the house red onion dressing for your sandwich.
The food is a little overpriced, but okay. But the service? no smiles, confusing pick up area and no one talks to you to let you know to walk to the other side of the store where there's a sign marked "Phone orders only". One of our favorite places in Shawnee to go to. Food always made fresh. Cookies are Great! Staff very friendly. Even sing for your birthday and give free desert on your special day!
