The ambience is peaceful, the taste of the food is slightly above average.

Ordered Samosa chat that deserves a 5 Star due to the flavours and chutneys. Spice level 5 will be good to give the spicy taste to your tounge.
Naan and Shahi paneer can get much better though.

Since the time I came to cincinnati, I kept hearing about this place that it serves great indian food. Yesterday I got a chance to try their food. I had dal makhni , butter roti which was served with rice and salad. After the first bite it so felt like home and I relished the meal thoroughly. Will be going here again for chaat and chole bhature.
PS :Special thanks to Mr Shakir and Mr Patel for introducing me to this place when i was tired of having sandwiches.

Near perfection.. One of best Indian restaurants to try for good vegetarian food. Had back of mind for some time and planned for snacks time but end up with dinner time. Had really good spicy and hot food in chilled weather. Every item (Kadai Paneer, wheat paratha, chole bhature and Bhalla Papri) we ordered turned out to be really tasty and had great time to finish it :-P
Must try place for good veg food.

Wonderful food, great staff. We enjoy Brij Mohan several times a month. The food is delicious, and the staff patient and willing to explain the menu. The spice level is always just right. We are typically greeted with a "nice to see you" when we visit. Although we are not Hindu, we always feel welcome.

Best Indian Food in Cincinnati. This is by far the best Indian restaurant in Cincinnati. The Indian street food matches the quality that you actually get in India. We don't miss Indian food thanks to BrijMohan! :)

Loved the food!. We've passed by this restaurant several times and yesterday we decided to stop in and try the food. We were so pleasantly surprised. The food was great and everything is vegetarian. I had the Curry Kofta-- no spice with a side of plain Naan. My husband had another dish with #2 spice. The Kofta was like small soft meatballs in spiced sauce (the flavor was great, but even though I ordered "no spice," there was still a little bit of spice in it).

The Naan was incredible-- the best I ever had. The place was not very crowded when we arrived, but by 8 pm, it was very crowded and people were waiting for an empty table. The meal is served on paper plates with a plastic spoon for the utensil. Drinks are poured into styrofoam cups. We ordered at the counted and gave our table number. The food was delivered to us. I saw that they had lunch specials for $4.99 so we plan on going back in the near future.

Definite Yes. Having moved out of Cincinnati area, I thought I need to write a review for a restaurant that has given us such great memorable times when we were there. Without doubt THE BEST veg restaurant that I have been to in the US. Everything starting from interiors to the food is very very elegant yet simple. Might be a little on the expensive side but then for the package that BM is, it is worth every single dollar.
If you are looking for the best combo of north Indian and Indian chats and some great sweets this is the place to go. Their paneer dishes are just awesome and NOT once we had any complaint of any kind when we went there. From what started out as a once-a-month visit, we started eating there almost every week. We simply loved BM.

Thanks BM, for providing such a nice experience for us each time, every time.

An Indian friend recommended this to me and I'm glad I sought it out. The food was delicious. Everyone in my party ordered different appetizers, entrees, and sweets, and we all shared. Everything was delightful! The lady at the counter was very nice and even gave us samples as we tried to decide which desserts to order. I will definitely go back.

Our new favorite little place!. Friends of ours from Oxford were introduced to this little restaurant by an Indian friend and went with us as we tried it tonight. It may be the best Indian food we've ever had! Don't be put off by having to go to the counter to place your order or by having to use plastic forks and paper plates - you won't care at all once you take the first bite.
After you place your order the server brings it out quickly in courses. We had samosas and the Papri Chat appetizer - homemade cool yogurt sauce and hot paprika(?) over crispy circles of some sort of pastry. Very good. We also had the Garlic Naan, the Saag Paneer - which our server recommended for the homemade cheese, and a delicious vegetable Korma.
Our server, Teresa, and the woman who took our order were both very friendly and delightful. We were too full to try any of the huge array of homemade desserts but will be going back soon.

Pretty good. I went here for lunch the other day. I had previously been here a few years back when it was in a smaller, darker location in the same strip. I believe that the dismal looking place in the old picture for the restauraunt is the previous location. Not that it looks much different outside now, but they expanded and did a great job on the new space. It is very nice and open inside.
Being a regular Indian buffet lunchgoer, I walked in and looked around, wondering where the buffet was. Apparently they don't do a lunch buffet, which is a radical departure from the norm from my experience, and really took me by surprise. Not a huge deal, but this is probably the first Indian place I've been to that didn't have one.
I got a lunch combo which included a curry dish, rice, and garlic naan for 4.99. The curry and the naan were both awesome tasting - some of the best I've had in the city. Unfortunately with my voracious appetite at lunch, I devoured the meal and was still only about half full.
Overall, I was really impressed by the tastes. The prices were also quite reasonable, but next time I think I'll pay the full price for a larger portion. I'd recommend trying this place out, especially for vegetarians.

Great chats at slightly high prices. I love this place for Indian chats and visit it every time I visit Cincy! They make chats with great fresh ingredients which lend it the authentic Indian taste. The other food is not superb but is good nevertheless. Highly recommended for chats, though slightly overpriced.

I am always in the lookout for a good Indian restaurant so we decided to try this place. The entire ambiance is very relaxing and there is good music playing. We tried the paneer makani and asked for a higher spice level and we liked it a lot. Creamy spicy cube cheese curry with a side plate of rice with peas. The only dissapointing thing for me was the price. This curry came in a 2 oz dixi paper bowl, fir 9 dollars! That's a bit too pricy for me. I wish they would add this to their lunch special but they barely carry any paneer lunch specials. So that's from me. I like the place but the price and quantity didn't justify for me but if you are in town and craving indian food, do try this place.

This is a delicious Indian Restaurant. It is very laid back with paper plates and serve yourself beverages. (it is vegetarian FYI) The cook doesn't overuse the spice, so if you already like Indian food, you are safe to get a 3 or higher here. I'm always hesitant the first visit and like to test the waters. I had the saag paneer, or spinach curry with cheese cubes and it was delicious. I was slightly disappointed that the meal was $9 per entree and it was a little small. The price did not include bread as well. The bread is above $2 per slice; and while naan is delicious, that was a bit steep. Overall, the food and people were delightful, so if you're in Sharonville with a hankering for eggplant or curry, definitely give Brij a try - decide for yourself!

Another indian palace of goodness. The decor is unassuming, but the curries make up for the lack of ambiance. The saag choley is everything a curry is meant to be, the warm and spicy kind which melts in your mouth. The desserts are showcased with every imaginable indian sweet represented. I always go for the gulab jamun, which is fried milk balls with sweet syrup - plus take a batch home. Plus, brijmohan is pure vegetarian heaven!!

I'€™m continuing my quest to better understand Indian cuisine with Anisha coming to my aid. One of her favorite restaurants is Brij Mohan because of its consistent preparation, sweets, and flavors of Southern Indian fare.

There are 30 different entrees, all served with a heaping mound of basmati rice. There's the potatoey Aloo Vindaloo; Malai Kofta, vegetarian meatballs swimming in a creamy tomato and chili-based gravy; spinachy Saag; and a variety of masala dishes, each with its own unique spice profile. Heat levels at Brij Mohan are offered on the typical 1-6 scale.

I have been thinking about Brij Mohan since the last time I was there, which was Thursday. And before that, I thought about it for a week after the first trip I made. I am absolutely obsessed. Brij Mohan used to be only an Indian sweets (mithai) shop. Folks would come from all over- as far as Chicago- to get a taste of Indian sweets that were as close as possible to what they could get in India, or made in their grandmother's kitchens. They've since expanded to casual, vegetarian fare as well, including chaat and various curries. One of my readers (and a coworker), Deepak, insisted that it was the best stuff in the city. Deepak, I owe you a meal at Brij Mohan, since you are right. Brij Mohan is my favorite Indian in town right now. It's inexpensive, delicious, and the menu is a little more unique than other Northern Indian restaurants in town.

This is one of the famous Indian restaurants this side of Ohio. They are famous for the traditional Indian sweets and Punjabi dishes. They have big restaurant where you can enjoy the dishes but currently they have made only carry out due to staff issues. Usually this hotel will be busy so please plan accordingly or give order on the phone and pick up on the given times. Their food is amazingly tasty and it’s pure vegetarian restaurant. Staff are very friendly and will help in ordering the food. If you like Indian chats this place is a must go πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘Œ

Reduced menu and no dine-ins. Bhelpuri, Paanipuri and other chats were not available. We ordered Samosa, Chole Bature and Veg Biriyani. Samosa and Biriyani were awesome. The Bature would have been better enjoyed in the restaurant. It got a bit elastic by the time we had it back in our hotel room.

One of the best Indian restaurants I have been to. Great food. Taste and quality. Good service and reasonable rates. Highly recommend. The chaat here is undoubtedly the best thing. Plenty of options. Good Indian curry options as well. Always come here when I am in or near Cincinnati.
