Golden Corral

Pretty good buffet with sirloin steak. It was the best steak I ever had at a Golden Corral. Most everything was hot and fresh and the servers were very friendly as well. The only negative was the sweet tea. The water they made it with tasted like well water. Nasty taste. Would have been 5 stars but I take my sweet tea seriously being a southerner and all. Get the tea situation fixed please.

Me and my family travel a lot on hwy 17 and pass by this resturant often. I am very impressed with the whole resturant in all aspects. I am very picky on cleanliness, and food temps when I sit down to eat. The food was great and hot. I was very impressed that the manager took time to check on everyone and talk to them, although he was very busy. We will stop here more often. The cook that was cooking the steaks was (right on) my steak was cooked perfect! Our waitress was very nice and made sure we were well taken care of.

All Golden Corral's should model there guest service after this one. This is the best Golden Corral I have ever visited. Food was excellent but the staff was especially great! Everyone was friendly and made our dining experience great. Beverly was at the front and got us checked in. She was very welcoming and made our day. She said hi to our nephews and was really sweet with them. I believe Ashley was our server and was very friendly and attentive to our table. Also, upon looking for a spot to sit there was another server that helped us find a good spot. She was also very friendly and brought up the UNC game since one of us had a UNC shirt on. Again, It was very welcoming. I just started coming to Golden in 2018 and I have never experienced such great service from a Golden Corral. We were visiting this location from out of town. We will definitely come back on our next visit to Ocean Isle and Supply NC. Thank you!

Eaten here a handful or times, and have never left hungry or dissatisfied. Food quality is very good, and consistent, and always plenty to go around. Tons of choices for picky eaters and kids and everything in between. Service is adequate and normally attentive and good. Only thing I can say that's negative is sometimes the crowd is sketchy, but worth the chance for the plentiful tasty food options.

This is the Golden Corral that we always go to since we live in Shallotte. The prices for seniors have gotten a little high, so we don't go every week like we used to...now we go once a month. The one thing I always looked forward to was the sesame chicken. The chunks of white meat chicken in that sauce was the best. However, now the pieces are small strips of what I believe is dark meat? I'd rather have the original sesame chicken than the steak. Food is always hot though, and the waitresses are always great. Marcie is one of the best waitresses there. Always a smile and right on top of everything. (Gave 4 stars because of the sesame chicken, but we'd give 5 stars for the wait staff!)
