Love the atmosphere, the music, in many ways it reminds me of a nostalgic diner.
With that said, it is not run down or unkept. Very cleanly.
Friendly staff,
Cheese curds, large portion, fair price.
Excellent taste, house made ranch.
Shrimp scampi, decent portion size, shrimp cooked perfectly, pasta has perfect bite..
It's not drowning in sauce which is exactly how it should be.
Pot roast, amazing...
The meat is unbelievable tender, real mashed potatoes, thus is the perfect pot roast...
I can usually find an "issue" with restaurants (as many of you know) but this place is amazing.
I will make the 90minute drive back out here for this quality....
Coming up on 5mill views, so I know I have a lot of Lincoln readers, trust me, it's worth the drive to come here....
This was my first time going here and I will definitely be going back again! The fish sticks weren't too greasy, and I definitely got my money's worth of fish. The garlic Herb crusted walleye is the perfect dish for lent as well. The mimosa flight is affordable, and each flavor is equally delicious. I can't wait to come back and try more menu items.
New to the area and this cafe was recommended to me by someone I met at work - they brought me here for a meal and now I can't stop going back! I have rotated my meal choices each time I've been here, and I have never been disappointed. (My favorite to date would have to be the salmon BLT!) Not only are the food and atmosphere a wonderful experience, but the staff are genuine and true joys as well. In fact, one of the co-owners makes it a goal to get to know as many of the patrons in her cafe as she can while she's there; just a friendly, like-home environment you won't want to miss out on.
Amazing. Drive out of the way to come here, it is worth the 9 miles off the interstate. Brunch was amazing. The staff were kind and engaging, the food delicious, and the prices reasonable. Be sure to try the cinnamon roll pancakes and the mimosas!
This was a fantastic little place! Everyone was so friendly, the food was delicious, and the building was so historic. My husband and I were in town for a wedding and came to the Cafe on a Saturday for lunch and only took a few minutes to be seated, even though every table was full when we came in. The next morning, we brought around twenty of our friends and family members with us for breakfast! Here you'll get small town hospitality and big city taste and experience. We'll definitely be back if we ever make it to the Seward area again!
New owners re-opened the restaurant in March 2018. Great food and service! They live up to their slogan of "Big City Taste with Small Town Charm." Go give them a try!
