These are the best pupusas I have ever eaten in my life. They were cooked from scratch and served so fresh and perfect. I thought I would never find good pupusas again after I left DC but this place is the one. Best in Maryland!

The food is always excellent and the service is impeccable. The owner puts so much love into the food she makes and it’s always a pleasure stopping by. My favorites are the bistec encebollado, huevos rancheros, desayuno salvadoreño and cafe con leche. I don’t know if they’re making horchata anymore but the owner was so sweet back in 2020 and allowed me to purchase several liters for my daughter’s birthday party 💗

First of all, no lights. Wierd feeling, but my husband said that's normal for family Mexican restaurants. Fine. Our order was incorrect. The guy took the order from the kitchen window instead of coming up to the counter. The menus were covered in grease, dust, and whatever else. I was given a different price for one of the items, $4 more than the menu. After waiting about 10 minutes while they were cooking I was given yet another price for the tacos. Online it said $3.50 each, menu said 9.99 for 4 tacos, and I was told $4 each. Tamales, we didn't get ours because even though it was repeated back to me, it wasn't put on the order. Menu says 2.50 each, one sign by the register says $4 each, sign on the other side of the counter said $5 each. I used to love eating here, the food was tasty and never had an issue with inaccuracies with orders. This time the order was incorrect and i got charged $4 for a taco full of cilantro. I've seen reviews about incorrect prices that go back over a year. That's bad business and we won't be back. You can't just make up prices, and the receipt isn't detailed. So you don't know what you actually got charged for.

I am first in shock about the ambience of the place. Why are you cooking in a dark kitchen? I kept asking my husband was their lights turned off. I should have known something was not right. It get home and open up my food and I had containers of green sauce that the sauce barely covered the bottom. The food was tasteless I added hot sauce and lime and it taste worse. Never again!!!! This place is weird.

I love the food here the tacos had me thinking about them for the rest of the day. The worker was so kind in taking our order and bringing our food. This is gonna be a regular taco and pupusa spot. Amazing hot chili especially if you like the heat.

Amazing food and amazing people. Authentic, FRESH, made from scratch. We had the cheese enchiladas, chicken tacos, and a carne asada burrito. The food arrived hot, and everything was so delicious. We happened to be there on a day when they were out of rice, but the rice in the burrito was substituted for potatoes. This was something that I was taken aback by at first, but I ended up absolutely loving it. Everything tasted amazing but also less heavy than I had grown accustomed to this type of food being. This food was genuinely some of the best Mexican food I have had in quite a long time. I’ll definitely go back there again, maybe for breakfast this time.

Wonderful food, the tortas was absolutely amazing. As were the chicken tacos. The owners were very friendly and gave a wonderful family vibe. Yes the lights are out and that can be a bit off putting but if you can get past that then you’re in for some wonderful food.

Hands down the BEST (authentic) tacos in the area! The chicken taco is *chefs kiss*. We have been ordering through Grubhub but stopped in for the first time today and the staff was soooo friendly and accommodating!
