I spend some time on the road, visiting small out of the way towns. Always looking for the Mariners type restaurant/cafe. Most towns if still alive have one where the locals gather for breakfast or just coffee and talk. You know the food will be the absolute best with generous portions. The Mariners Cafe is that Restaurant in Sequim. I'm a regular there whenever I'm in town. Good food, outstanding owner and servers. You can't miss at the Mariners!!
Great to very good food there and on Fridays they have an all you can eat fish and chips meal that is hard to beat.
Thank-you so much for fitting in the last minute Birthday Party.... It was a huge success .... The food was great and the customer service was OUTSTANDING!
Stopped in on my brother's recommendation. I wasn't disappointed. Had the peach pineapple pie heated a la mode. Probably one of the best pies I've ever had. Keep up the good work.
I'm a regular, been a long time since regular and my name have been used together. Nicest people and great food, exactly what I look for in a restaurant.
What a great place to eat for breakfast, lunch or dinner.. what great service and friendly atmosphere. I look forward to coming again...

Always good food go every time we come up to camping
After dropping our RV off at Eric's RV, we saw this restaurant across street. Our breakfast was wonderful and great service too.
Awesome food and awesome waitresses.
I love my Friday morning breakfasts with the girls!
Themed like a boat, island and pretty much like an old school marine life, this restaurant has a bunch of seating. You see a lot of repeat customers and old timers. Their breakfast selection was quite huge and portion sizes were great.
The service was slow IMO. But otherwise, is a good place to get Sunday brunch
Their sweet potato fries are incredible. The raspberry pie is so delicious, I thought about it, as I fell asleep. Everything we've tried has been great. The servers are attentive, and our orders have always been correct. The kitchen staff are consistent, with taste, presentation, and boxing up. We've only gotten picked up, as we are generally super dirty, by supper time. Super easy parking. Indoor/outdoor seating
I just ate @ the Mariner Cafe! 😋 I had coffee and eggs benedict with country potatoes. The country potatoes are delicious as well as the hollandaise sauce and eggs. Although they forgot the slice of ham, they made things right. They were very busy, but service was courteous as usual. Why only 4 stars? In my opinion the coffee tastes like instant coffee - ugh. Even though they serve flavored creamer, I would prefer better tasting coffee.
We usually go for breakfast as we love Mimosas and well cooked, consistently good, and comforting breakfast food.
We recently went for lunch. This place doesn't disappoint!
They are beyond accommodating with special requests. I never feel rushed when we want to have a couple of beers or mimosas before we order our food. This place isn't a bar type of establishment, but they have a decent beer and cocktail list.
Seating is varied and abundant. You can sit outside under the sun (during the pandemic they offered outside heated seating, and it was a welcome relief. It was fun to bundle up and support a local business!), or in a covered, enclosed patio with comfy seats and heat and windows, or inside with tables placed far enough apart to be able to hear your conversation and have a place for a walker or wheelchair.
The owner frequently is there helping and visiting, and we had two staff checking on us.
We felt welcome and valued as customers! And we had enough food leftover to take home to share. I had the Tuesday special chicken fettuccine (also offered seafood) and it had a generous portion of perfectly cooked chicken, along with phenomenal navy bean soup and garlic bread
My boyfriend had the turkey melt, and he was maybe slightly upset I ate his leftovers. It was so good I couldn't help it!
Also, they have chowder every day. I plan to have that next!
Pretty good crispy juicy fish & chips. Everything tastes good and perfectly cooked! 😋 I really liked the fried oysters and scallops 😋 Mariner Scatter is where it’s at! Our server was real sweet, she’s got great energy.
Great experience for my family of 6 on vacation. Food was amazing with large portions. You have to try the Mariner mess with the sweet and spicy tobasco it’s so good.
We had the French dip Au jus, fresh cut fries and steak fries and we had the Philly cheesesteak with mushrooms and the chicken fried steak that came with the a salad and gravy and garlic toast and then the really great one was the bacon cheddar browns with the eggs and rue toast
Dropped in after church, and they were crazy busy, but we found seating at a family style table and got service right away. The food was delicious, and the waitress was charming.
We are very appreciated to your absolutely knowing and valuable staff .They were so attentive to us Clam chowder soup and tuna are delicious!! We will recommend your café to all our friends. THANKS SO MUCH!!!
I loved everything but the biscuits. Excellent service and delicious food. Very fast
Had breakfast there several times now, and it was great! Home town restaurant with good food. People working there are very friendly.
The food was good. The french toast was amazing, the syrup was just as good. Their sausage was good and cooked all the way through. The eggs were good, but they lacked in some seasonings. I would go here again to try their lunch. Very fulling meal overall.
A great menu with lots of choices. Service was good. I did order a salad with blue cheese dressing and it was the worse blue cheese dressing I've ever had. Watery and tastless.
Usually busy on the weekends but tons of seating so you won’t be waiting. The staff is great with kids.
The seat-yourself part might turn off a first timer but you can tell that it’s more geared toward the local crowd which I’m happy to be part of.
Amazing food, big portions and a friendly and efficient staff. Highly recommend.
Great food, large selection and variety. Good value, and if you leave hungry, it's you own fault.
