Huddle House

This 1 star does not represent the workers because they were of phenomenal caliber, they actually insisted that I call corporate and here is why. The cooks informed me they hadn't had a break since 5 am which is crazy since they don't even open until 6, which is amazing. They informed me that they were taking a 30 minute break to clean the grill which was at lunchtime on a Sunday due to high traffic, a clean grill is a must for breakfast food and hopefully the cooks can take a break during this down time. However the cooks were still making food and seating people, just not us. When I asked for a manager a low key guy in civilian attire walked up to me and said he had talked to them and they would cook for us, thank you unsung hero of the huddle house. In hindsight, the waitress was as frustrated as i was about the whole situation. Not only is the waitress loosing money during one of the busiest times of day but it's also bad for business. We went 20 miles south to Batesville to eat at another Huddle House. Apparently, after talking to corporate this is not the first time this store has been on the low side of the totem pole, so beware. You can read other reviews so just don't take my word for it. Not sure how it's still actually in business since so many HH have closed around the country.

4/16/22 went in with my family to eat breakfast. 7 adult 2 kids. Black lady behind the counter yelling, no more then 6 in a group. There was 10 black family members all together at 2 tables. This place is racist. She was rude and racist. I live in this town and will be spreading the word. Only reason for the star, had to so I could post this.
