Extraordinary experience! We went to the Heartline Cafe to taste sample menus for my wedding and it was the most spectacular meal of my life! Hard pressed to choose a favorite anything— it was all so delicious! Also, Phillis, the owner, is a wonderful human being. She was so warm, accommodating, and passionate about her job. It added an extra something special to the whole dining experience. I couldn’t recommend this restaurant more for exceptional dinner, service, and charming ambience!

Phyllis and her staff hosted and catered our wedding reception there on Black Friday. They went above and beyond with everything from the service to the food. Phyllis was EXTREMELY gracious, flexible and helpful from the moment we first talked to her to the day after the reception. The food is to die for, her desserts are EPIC. Do NOT hesitate to eat here, have her cater your event or have your reception there. Thanks again. We'll see you at the anniversary party!

Wow wow wow I have so many kind words to say about this establishment. We came to dinner on a Monday night and sat out back in their lovely seating area. We splurged and ordered a nice bottle of red arizona wine. They brought out delicious crusty, seasoned bread and fancy butters. I ordered the seared cauliflower steak with chimichurri sauce and had a side salad with black pepper dressing. Everything was phenomenal and vegan friendly. My mother ordered the pecan crusted local rainbow trout and also thoroughly enjoyed her meal. Our waiter was lovely and personable. Would highly recommend for a nice night out.

The food was good, but the ambiance and wait staff really threw off the experience given the high price point of the meals. There was no music playing, and the waitresses were dressed in super casual attire with hair hanging in faces. I was expecting it to be more of a cafe dinner experience, which it could be if the menu wasn’t setting a serious price point for the tone of the meal experience. I’d suggest raising the expectations of the wait staff with plate and wine knowledge, or lowering the prices to meet the experience.

Friendly staff and delicious, unique offerings. I guess I would describe it as gourmet comfort food. Great flavor profiles with the love of home cooking put into it. And do not forget dessert, I had the cinnamon ice cream which was out of this world. Definitely going back.

We happened across this place 15 yrs ago while visiting in Sedona and fell in love. What a great atmosphere and delicious food. The patio is surrounded by a wall lined with herb plants and fruit trees that they pick fresh and use in your meal and drinks. We made it a point to visit again on this trip and it was just as awesome as 15 yrs ago. Great atmosphere, great food and great service.

We dined on the patio. Received horrible service: no silverware, only had 1 heat lamp for entire patio, and service was slow, that we almost left prior to our meal arriving. They apologized for the wait, but never expedited their service. We Waited so long for dinner that we turned down free desert because we wanted to leave. Then they took so long to bring our check, that we had to go inside to pay. The food was just average. Not worth the wait!

I am sorry to say this but this food was so nasty halfway through my plate I feel like I was going to throw up. The server did not describe any of the entrées to us at all, I didn't realize I was eating apple chili ranch until the other server told the other customers. My garlic mashed potatoes were like a paste that kids play with and my husbands potatoes that came with the Lamb were raw they were supposed to be roasted. And then the server ran our Credit card for the wrong amount. After a $25 gift certificate our bill was still $70. Very disappointed and we will never go back

Excited to have catering but our wedding venue was sold and we had to cancel. The owner worked with us on a refund for which we were incredibly grateful. Highly recommend for both food for the belly and food for the soul. �

We love The Heartline Cafe. We can even take our dog for a visit on the outside patio. I like the gluten free choices on the menu and all of the great dishes they create. I have been going there for over 25 years. Phyllis and Chuck Cline are fantastic.

My husband and I had our rehearsal dinner for 30 people at the Heartline Cafe on November 11th. Prior to the dinner, we came in for a tasting which was a very lovely time. The evening of our rehearsal dinner could not have gone better. In fact, the biggest error was by myself and my husband for not bringing enough wine! The staff was exceptional, and made sure everything was going smoothly. We were in the fireside room which was appropriate for 30 people, but not many more. Phyllis even came in to check in and make sure that we were happy with everything. If you are coming in to eat, I definitely recommend the trout, it is locally caught and was to die for! But really everything was so good! I was really happy with my experience and I look forward to stopping in when we head up to Sedona for a weekend get away!

I first visited Sedona in 1994 and enjoyed a sumptuous dinner at the Heartline. It was the first of many memorable meals that I have enjoyed there over the years, when traveling to Sedona. It is a Hallmark of fine dining and always exceeds my expectations.
I was recently in Sedona again, after an absence of several years, the Heartline was my first stop. I ordered the trout, which was perfectly prepared and paired with a beautiful Sauvignon Blanc, recommended by Phyllis, owner of the Heartline. My family will go back again and again. I highly recommend the Heartline.

My wife, Sherry and I were in Sedona last week for our anniversary. We had dinner at the Heartline Café and it was by far the best food and best service of the three days that we were there. You can go to a restaurant that has a bigger name but you won't get better food anywhere in Sedona!!!!!

I didn't like the taste of the food, it was expensive. If you ever travel to Sedona AZ don't eat here. There much better fine dining experiences where the taste of the food is worth the price.

We came in over the weekend for brunch with a large group including several young kids and no reservation! The staff was very accommodating and kind to us. The food was delicious. Not one complaint from any of the 15 of us. The kids loved the breakfast options. The Crab Benedict and Lemon Creme Stuffed French Toast are worth going back for. Thank you for the enjoyable experience.

Where do I start? If I could give this restaurant 20 stars for service, location, and menu, I would do it. When we walked into the restaurant, the host told us that this is the place where the locals eat. After eating at Heartline, I can see why the locals would choose to eat here. I think that I might have had the best filet mignon that I have ever had in my life, paired with a great Pinot Noir. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Sedona! There is also a nice patio for outdoor dining

I LOVE heartline cafe!!! It's a special restaurant for us, as it's where we held our wedding reception (along with baby shower and anniversary dinners!). There are so many mass produced chain restaurants nowadays, and heartline is the exact opposite. The ingredients are always fresh, and the food is so delicious. The ambiance is nice, but most importantly, warm and inviting. The details of this restaurant definitely make it, from the eclectic dinner ware to the well thought out ingredients and flavors of each dish. The staff is always warm and welcoming. We will be returning for many years to come!
