12/13/23 I've been here a couple of times but it's been several years since. The food was really good. After reading other reviews about the tacos, I got the Poké tuna Tacos. They were really good and stuffed with tuna! Overflowing even- (pic). The big pretzel was good too. I will certainly get that again for an appetizer. Our server Jeff was great. I'll do my best to return sooner.

I was recently in town for the spartan race and decided to go to Cowpoke's for dinner after the race. I am so glad i did. The place was fantastic. The atmosphere was fun and the food and service was great. My son and I ordered the Tomahawk steak with a loaded baked potato and grilled asparagus. We also each ordered grilled chicken, mine was blackened with salad. We ate everything. It was by far the best tomahawk i ever had. The prices were reasonable and we had a great time. I will definitely come back to Cowpoke's and i highly recommend eating here.

We are traveling across the state and we came across this place and decided to stop for lunch. Shannen was our server and recommended some very tasty food. Atmosphere was great love this little place I would recommend it if you’re in the area.

Service was super quick and friendly. We sat outside at the GIANT tiki bar which was very enjoyable. There were no bugs and it was very comfortable temperature wise. Garlic bread and never ending salad came out promptly and both were nice while we waited on our entrees. I had the Watering Hole Punch and my husband ordered the Maker’s Runner. I liked mine, he love his. The Runner was super smooth with a great flavor. The punch was similar to most anywhere. I ordered a filet, blackened shrimp and grilled zucchini while my husband ordered the salmon and mashed potatoes. The filet was cooked perfectly to my specification and the shrimp was delicious. Zucchini was a nice light option. The salmon had a nice flavor, the mashed were a little bland. The prices were fantastic and the portions not overwhelming.

Andrea took good care of us! She helped us make good decisions on our food choices. She gave us shelter from the storm (Italian) and maintained a positive professional attitude! I loved my grilled shrimp on a Cesar salad. My husband had a delicious crab soup. All home made. Despite the fun and casual decor, the chef is seriously impressive and the food is top notch. All of the servers were gracious and poised. A pleasant dining experience. We would definitely recommend it to others. I am posting pictures of the fun decor and our dishes as the presentation was quite attractive!

Very cute, hidden gem! We went on a Saturday night with 11 people so we definitely made a reservation. Definitely a casual dress, family friendly place with unbelievable steaks! It is expensive, but not ridiculously so! The food was definitely worth it! Our server was running and did an amazing job! We had the gator bites and fried green tomatoes! Absolutely UNBELIEVABLE! I had the filet Oscar style, amazing. The refillable salad had a unique southern ranch, delicious! The garlic bread, also refillable, was very hard to resist (I ate 4 pieces!) we will definitely be going there again!

I see why the locals love this place. The staff was friendly, and the food was amazing. I had the sirloin steak with steamed veggies, salad, bread, and pumpkin cheesecake. Yes! It was a feast. So good. Plus, the vibe is super relaxed. I have to return when they have live music.

Truly one of my pleasure places to eat in town. The food is always delicious the staff is always friendly and attentive. The environment is cute as hell even if the alligator is gone. My personal favorite is the fried fish sandwich with chips. Under 10 bucks you can't beat it but everything is delicious.

Our, absolute, favorite place to eat in Highlands County. Food is always delicious. They definitely know how to pick their wait staff. Today Paige was bartending and waited on us. She was amazing. Very kind, polite, and accommodating to our needs. Highly recommend the steak, tacos, Alfredo, salad, bread, and homemade Ranch dressing. 3-12-23 have been back again several times this winter. The food is always delicious, and the wait staff (acception of one) always treat us like family. Shout out to Marco for his great service and friendly, welcoming smile today and Margaret and the hostess, Kimberly, for always recognizing us and our dog, Scrappy. My husband loved his scallops today, and I couldn't have been more pleased with the pork osso bucco. Back again! Sy is our waitress; and she is just the sweetest, cutest gal! Husband is getting the Tacos, he's addicted to them! I'm getting the Gaucho Steak Chimichurri. Both absolutely delicious, again!

This was a nice place to eat at on our way back to our lodging after visiting family. We had the ribeye, salad, and baked potato; grown up grilled cheese (served on naan), buffalo chicken sandwich, the BLT, and the fried green tomatoes. It was all good. The steak could've been a bit more tender, but otherwise it was all delicious.

We showed up with a Motorcycle Club with over 50 people in our group. They sat us inside all the way in the back of the restaurant. But for a reservation for 50+ people that only had 2 servers for all of us. The service was horrible. Part of the group went outside and ordered on our own. The service outside was 5★. We got out drinks and our food before the group even ordered their food. Jackie T was our server and she did a wonderful job.

Perhaps the best ribeye I have ever had. Great service!! From the escargot, salad and then the steak, top notch. The owner walks around and greets each table and makes sure you are happy. Escargot at a steak house is not often found but they were off the charts good.

I go here and dine with my family every time I am in Sebring. Best Steakhouse, Seafood & American restaurant around. The food has a garlic theme, which is just fine with me! They are also very attentive of your needs. I don’t care how full you are; you must order the Orange cake for dessert! Everything on the menu is delicious.

Ugggggggh not even worth the 1 star! We have been to watering hole many times, but this time the service was slow, the food was horrible. I am thinking it was a bad night and kitchen staff was off and our server was new! We won’t be back for while, we’ll give it a rest before returning!

Awesome Place. I live inFort Pierce Fl and we goto the watering hole at least 3-4 times a year. We like going when Rye Road or Shannon Reed are playing. Music is great, food and service are great, dancing is. Great way we all take and try to work that steak and potato off. It’s great fun, and no matter good or bad it’s fami time and we make the best of it, I always have to be different when ordering due to allergies so I know when service isn’t correct I don’t complain I usually give someone a chance to make it better. So far this restaurant has always kept everyone at my table happy. Keep it up y’all. See y’all soon. 🤪

Had dinner last night, a group of 15 adults and 4 children, one server, the meal was very good and the service was nothing short of amazing, never an empty glass, orders were taken in a timely manner, all meals were served as ordered, and the table cleared, also in a timely manner, all with a polite smile and friendly attitude

Beef brisket was "best he's ever had", according to my husband. I had sirloin...superb! Our waitress Ashley was great. Even had a visit from the manager checking how everything was going. Great service! Great food! Great atmosphere!

Went to celebrate my daughters birthday this evening with our family(21 of us) had reservations for 5 pm and by 6:15( 10 min after I received my dinner) was approached by our waitress and told that we needed to hurry and finish bc they had a 17 top who had reservations as well. Our server said "my manager sent me o tell you you have to rush bc you arent the only ones who had reservations and only give 2 hours. Never once when I made reservations was I told about a time limit. All of our guest had to get togo boxes! A manager never came over no apologies were given nothing!

Looks like a small red neck bar from the outside. WOW. What a surprise when you walk in the door! The place goes on forever. 18 in our party and haven’t heard a bad word from anyone. They now have 18 new customers. Great service, great food and a great place to eat!

Best restaurant in Sebring! We came here for dinner on an incredibly busy Friday night. We had to wait a little while for a table – but that wasn’t so bad because we had a beer at the bar while we were waiting. My husband and I ordered a Cajun chicken pasta and the boneless pork loin for dinner. This came with garlic bread and a bottomless salad – which we loved as it was covered in a tasty, garlicky, creamy dressing. Our dinner was delicious (the pasta was al dente and the pork was cooked perfectly) and the portions were enormous. We liked it so much that we decided to come back the next night! On our second visit we ordered the 24oz rib on the bone. It was amazing – the meat was succulent and cooked and seasoned beautifully. We enjoyed our second meal at this restaurant even more than our first meal! This is probably the best restaurant in town – no wonder it’s so popular!!

Went there for a birthday dinner with three others . Two of us ordered the prime rib while the others ordered another cut of steak. Both of the prime ribs were tough: so Much so that we did not finish it. Manager did take off some of the price, but I will think twice about going back ,and definitely will not order the prime rib. Can you say "shoe leather?"

Price too high for the steaks. Three people out of five of us ordered steaks. Sirloins were really tough ( I know they are low quality steaks, but to be as tough as they we're is unacceptable). Filet Mignon, we'll not as good as I have had. Prices way too high. I guess you pay for the name of the place. I told my sister how good gator is, I was so embarrassed. It was so tough and took forever to chew it. Now I will have to take her to a restaurant where the gator is tender. All I can say is this restaurant is definitely over priced for what we ate there.

Have lived in Sebring for over 10 years. Was there Sunday night for dinner because a family member wanted to go. This was my 4th visit, 2nd with the new owners. Would say there were 20 people in the whole place. Service was slow at best and I have had better steak at Golden Corral. Next time I want steak this will not be it.

Steaks are yummy - Beware ask about their Specials!. We were referred to Cowpokes by our local doctor's office and decided to head right over for an early dinner around 4:15 p.m. We were so surprised in that the building looks small from US 27 but once inside... it's huge with over 12,000 sq ft! Our waiter was very friendly, coming by to talk frequently. We had been told by locals to try the Sirloin Steak, so we told our waiter we were considering giving it a try... Wait-staff: We trusted that our waiter would inform us of any specials besides what was on the menu he had given us...but he didn't. It was only after we paid, giving him a good tip, & left that we found out they have Early Bird Pricing/Specials from 4-6 p.m. - our Sirloin Steak (6oz) could have been $10 since we were seated after 4 p.m. Since we weren't informed of Early Bird Specials at all. & only being given the dinner menu, we ordered and paid $13.99 per entree instead. That's nearly $8 more because our waiter didn't inform us. On the chef's side: The Steaks were GREAT! The garlic-butter topping was fabulous. Will we go back...yes! But we will go back better informed on our own, about the specials. We won't rely on our waiter to give us that service. We would have given Cowpokes an A+ but due to not being informed about the specials and in our opinion being overcharged nearly $8 we'll give them a B+.

Eh..... We went long before the new owners, the food was perfect...we have gone now twice with the new owners and I was very unhappy. The garlic they cover their steaks in makes you think that POSSIBLY the steaks are not as FRESH as one would like... the meat smelled a bit sour under all that garlic and my entire party of 6 were ill due to the saturation of garlic on the meat. They have doubled the amount of garlic sauce they cover the meat in...what are they COVERING UP?? Meat is perfect alone with a bit of something to dip in FRESH meat needs little to no seasoning...let alone saturation!

Great place to go for steak and seafood. New owners take credit cards now. Service is friendly and food is fresh and cooked to your liking which takes a little extra time. Club Cowpoke for dancing with live band on Th - Sat.
