Mary's Pizza Shack

First time trying Mary's Pizza Shack and really enjoyed it! Pizza was really good, but I especially liked the crust. Nice blend of char, crispy and chewy. I had pepperoni and the sauce and pepperoni had just a little bit of spicy to it that was not spicy but a little more bold than a generic pepperoni pizza. We also had some bread sticks which were good, though slightly under-done. We had the mozzarella garlic bread which I liked better than the bread sticks. My wife had spaghetti with marinara which she really liked. But my favorite was the minestrone soup! Was fantastic! Made with ham hocks it was absolutely delicious. Will be back!

We stopped by on May 10th (which was our wedding anniversary) after a day trip to Bodega Bay. Last time we did this trip, my wife recommended we stop by on the way home since she knows I love Italian food. She had been to the Fairfield location & had fallen in love with their food especially their meatballs. This experience was one of the greatest I had ever had at a resteraunt. My wife had mentioned to one of the staff that it was our anniversary & the word spread. Our server Shyane was excellent. Alex the General Manager dropped by to chat with us & even offered a dessert which we had planned on purchasing anyhow. We collect fridge magnets of all the places we visit & asked if they had any for sale.They didn't but scrounged & found one of their promotional magnets. There was another employee I would like to give a shoutout to but she wasn't wearing a name tag. She was the one who found the magnet & also asked if we would like a couple souvenir glasses from their 55th year celebration. The dinner: My wife had the Spaghetti with Meatball & a Salad. She also ordered an extra Meatball specifically for leftovers. I had a Calzone with Peperoni, Olive & Onion. Both of our meals were excellent. From now on it will be our tradition to stop when we are in the area. Thank you to all the employees there.

I used to live in Sonoma county and Mary's pizza is one of the things I REALLY miss. Was passing through with family, we ordered a small salad and a large combo pizza to go. With just those two items plus tip, it added up to $65!! Everything was delicious but... Yikes. That was a lot of money for pizza.
