Yen Wor Village - Seattle - Photo album

My new favourite greasy spoon! The place is rough, it seems clean enough but let's not kid ourselves -- we aren't looking for the authentic chinese flavour here. This is one of my favourite types of Chinese-American restaurants for sure. Everything might be a tad oily but damn it's good. Do yoursel
Best Chinese food in West Seattle and downtown. Stellar service as well! José was attentive, knowledgeable and quite generous.
Customer Service was 10/10 tonight, the cashier came up to me with some positive energy and I appreciate that. Awesome place to watch karaoke & meet new people. There was women who sang well, and told me the song was for Me. Very nice voice. Karaoke after 9pm everyday but I recommend showing up at 1
The place is fun to go to. They have a pool table, ping pong table, and karaoke. The food that I had onsite was great. HOWEVER, if you ever order delivery via Uber Eats, you will be let down. I ordered two combination plates and instead was given six eight ounce bowls of liquid. ----------------
Tried to have dinner before a movie....got tea and weak wonton soup in a mere 45 minutes. Told waiter we waited far to long and had to get to movie. He offered to bag to go when it was ready. We said no and he charged us full price of $35.. Will not ever go there again and encourage others not to
The food was actually excellent. They need to hire more servers on the restaurant side. Only having one person there was not fair to the poor young man doing the job.
From order to food being brought to the table was slow, and there was only 1 other customer. Pork fried rice was stale and was cold in the middle, orange chicken, a few pieces the batter was still uncooked. The restaurant was freezing.
I am going to be honest. This place looks like a dive bar at 9 PM, then turns into the best hangout in West Seattle by 12:30. The karaoke hosts (usually) know what they're doing; staff is friendly; Jello Shots are cheap; Chinese food...well...it exists, but nobody comes there for Chinese. 😉 Basical
