Service was surprisingly quick. We got our food within 10 minutes and it was delicious ! The teriyaki is a good combo of sweet, savory, and moist. The beef fried rice was great and I would definitely get again. The water and hot tea were complimentary and at the front of the store by the register.
My only gripe is that the salad was very wet from being washed and the pieces were quite big. Smaller salad pieces and drying them out better is the only recommendation I’d suggest based on this one meal.

Honestly, i really enjoyed this teriyaki place! Due to Covid, you can’t go inside of the store instead you need to talk to them through the side window and get food from there. They don’t take orders if you don’t wear masks so be sure to wear masks!
Teriyaki chicken was super yummy and the sauce was poured on top of it and partially on top of the rice as well. It was good amount of sauce over all! I liked the salad too. It wasn’t soggy at all. We also tried shrimp tempura, and it was okay.
We did to-go order and went to Mount Baker’s lake and it was fun!

Food was good tasting, but somehow most of it was not even luke warm. I was really looking forward to some good teriyaki and can honestly say this was pretty disappointing. I would give them another shot, but definitely checking my food before I leave next time.

Best Teriyaki spot in WA, lived in Washington for 27yrs & nun can compete. There's usually a wait time because they make with love. Also there's alot people trying to order!

Seriously, this place is very overrated. Starting from the mediocre service offered by paranoid people taking orders through a side window facing the parking lot, the teriyaki chicken was really dry, service is slower, being next to a busy road creates a lot of background noise that causes miscommunications, which in-turn creates a mistake on your order.

Absolutely loved this place. The food was amazing, the rice was cooked perfectly, and the prices are very decent for Seattle. The best part was the staff though- it has a very family friendly atmosphere and there were bible verses and quotes all over the restaurant. A very positive vibe!

Used to come here all the time as a kid. It brings back memories everytime. The sauce is clean, the salad is so fresh. Definitely come here all the time in Seattle!

Toshio's the quintessential Seattle Teriyaki. I have been coming here since high school and the Teriyaki is just so good. I personally enjoy the chicken, beef and salmon. Your mileage may vary.
Seattle Teriyaki is slowly disappearing, being taken over by various other things and ventures. Do yourself a favor and try it, I have many converts that swear by Toshio's.
Enjoy
