Super cool place.
Tons of books and fun gadgets they sell.
They have a Starbucks with some oh so delicious food and drink waiting for you to enjoy your newly bought book with.
And the good wonderful smell of new book and paper.
Makes you feel accomplished doesn't it?
Makes you feel good.
A nice cold or hot drink, a nice yummy treat, a good book to read.
And if your not in a book mood, you got yourself free WiFi and lots of fun to have while having some refreshments.
The workers there are nice and helpful and willing to see what they can do to help.
They have all sorts of books and all sorts of genres.
A top notch book store if you ask me.
5 star all the way. :3

Always a great experience. Except the last times I've visited and ordered coffee, the server at the cafe doesn't have the best attitude. It always seems he's in a bad mood and the 2 times he's made my cold brew it was not very good, I don't know what he might change in the process but definitely not the same as every other time I have gotten it with any other server. I hope I just caught him while he was having bad days cause everything else and everyone else at the store is great!

I like the store. Always helpful staff, and an abundance of books on nearly every topic (and a willingness to get more!). This has been an anchor store for West Seattle for years. Unfortunately, I am given to understand that they will be closing in January 2019.

I like the coffee shop and enjoy Sunday evenings there. Sad that they close up while having several customers at 8pm.
The bathrooms have been locked the last 3 months when I stopped by. Same story. Staff does not know they are locked and manager always has an excuse. they offer the bathrooms next door at Target. Used to be my favorite Sunday night hangout.

Limited selection of books in some areas, but well organized. Definitely pricier than shopping on Amazon, but when looking at reference guides it is nice to see the pictures in person. I purchased one book that was marked $20 on the cover, but the reciept said $25. Kind of a bummer...

I will never come here again. I ordered from the coffee shop and the guy overcharged me. When I questioned it, he then tried to convince me I was wrong by adding the numbers INCORRECTLY. I asked to see the receipt and he said they couldn’t. He then got his manager who came over with the receipt only to see that the guy had overcharged me. She had him give me my money back and he just seemed annoyed. He then gave me the receipt to which I kindly asked if he would throw it away since I didn’t need it and there was literally a garbage can right next to him. He then said “you can throw it away yourself” and pointed at a garbage can across the cafe. Ridiculous. Give your business to someone else. This place is rude.

Used to be a really fun store, but the company has gone in a depressing direction. Everything is very planned out and robotic & the store feels very impersonal. The staff seems stretched too thin to run a full-sized retail store comfortably. Not surprised to hear this location is shutting down in January.

Good place to buy books. But there are some employees who sure ruin your day when you ask to return something and they make you seem poor or like trash. I was returning a book a I never ended up reading. The woman was very rude and it upset my day.
