I thought I’d try this place today. The gentleman who took my order verified my order twice: teriyaki chicken, rice and salad… right off the lunch menu. Sadly, I got NO rice and the smallest amount of chicken you’ve ever seen! I even went home to check. It was 3.39 ounces of chicken. For $10!!!!! And this was the lunch special! Do NOT go here! I even went back to say they forgot the rice and he *argued* with me! Because he wrote some scratches on a page, he seemed to think that I ordered wrong. So ten bucks for less than 3 and a half ounces of chicken and some lettuce leaves. Don’t waste your money! Go someplace else!

Came in at about 6:00 p.m. on a weeknight. Service was courteous, nothing amazing though. I was just here for takeout, so it wasn't really in the mood to chat or anything. I ordered the spicy chicken teriyaki, it was $11.99 plus tax and tip. Food was good. Large portion size. It was just me, this probably could have fed two people though. For me the best part of this restaurant, is that there are some picnic tables out across from oak tree market. Made for a very enjoyable takeout evening, even during the pandemic. Would recommend if you're in the area!

This is my favorite Teryaki place in Seattle! They make insanely delicious Teriyaki (especially spicy!) and their fries are really unique and delicious. This teriyaki joint is also extremely clean and well maintained, with a clear view of the kitchen and a consistently excellent health rating.

BUYER BEWARE!! We were customers for over 10 years. Today our order was wrong in a really bad way. Instead of teriyaki sauce, they gave us gyoza sauce for our chicken. With the chicken saturated in the wrong sauce we asked for a replacement or a refund but they refused. My wife and I have spent years working in food and beverage service, and this is NOT how you fix your mistakes. If your screw up an order, it is absolutely your responsibility to correct that mistake. You DO NOT refuse to fix it and expect to maintain my business. I will be asking my wife to dispute the charges with her bank and I will never order from here again. There are plenty of other places to get my teriyaki. Do yourself a favor and try any one of these nearby places instead: Sunny Teriyaki Ichi roll Wok & Teriyaki Manna Teriyaki Teriyaki First O Maki Rolls & Teriyaki Teriyaki Plus Teriyaki & Pho I would give this place 0 stars if I could. I do not recommend this place.

Outstanding teriyaki. Gentlemen that took our order was friendly, food was phenomenal. Sadly people are far too sensitive and rate everything that they don't deem "friendly" as a 1 star, so this place has a bad reputation on Google reviews. Try it out for yourself, and ignore the sensitive ❄ that choose to rate bad reviews because they got offended the owner didn't give his entire day to make sure they left happy.

Bad customer service. I ordered teriyaki chicken and a side and paid. Then saw a sign that said “lunch special” and it was exactly what I just bought only about $5 cheaper. I mentioned it to the guy and he got angry. First off, any restaurant should always be offering customers deals to make them want to come back. When I worked food service it’s common courtesy to say “everything you’re ordering is part of the lunch special, so you want to just get that?”... well now he just lost a potential customer over $5 in an already struggling neighborhood, not worth it.

I ordered the teriyaki salmon with a side of gyoza, and they were great! The prices are also reasonable for Seattle. I would recommend this spot if you're looking to fill your stomach with tasty food while on a budget.

If I could give negative stars I’d give -5! The owner was super rude when asked questions about the menu. I mean he could probably play it off as a language barrier. I asked for “well done” chicken, the owner was noticeably upset. The food is horrible! The rice was dry. I remember this place 5 years ago ran by a family and they made the best food around. Sold it to a rude rude can’t cook teriyaki man who doesn’t care about return customers and quality food. Never will I return!!
