One of the highlights of my Seattle visit. Fun, relaxing, casual and shows a feeling of neighborhood. Great food, great prices and great staff.

This tavern is a true hidden gem to Seattle! The local patrons accompanied by the beautiful history behind the place make this place one of a kind. After only an hour there it felt like home; for example the bartender knowing you by your first name, the local people making conversation, the cooks coming out to check on the food; just shows this place is a team effort to make it one of a kind. Also make sure you check out the dog calendar, not only does it show they care about their regulars but the proceeds go back into the community. Lastly the food menu is great, and affordable!

I think the best bar I have been to in Seattle... Very dog friendly as well.

Pretty middle of the road overall, BUT it is great considering the location and price of draft beers. It stands out because of the arcade games available and excellent service. I can’t remember the last time a bartender addressed me by my first name on a busy night, but they did here. On a relatively busy Friday night, I never had to wait long for attention from the bartender. Unfortunately this tavern plays its music a little bit too loud for my taste. This raises the volume of every group, and I can hardly hear music in earphones while I read alone. So, this might not be your quiet drinking spot. However, I would absolutely stop by here with some friends for a drink to start or end the night. They will add $1 to tabs if you spend under $10 and use a credit card. They have a prominent sign. I think that’s fair, but you should know before arriving.

Visited this tavern after a work meeting and it did not disappoint. Drink pours were generous and reasonably priced. Food was fried deliciousness. Now that credit cards/tabs are welcome at the bar... Kitchen is cash only. Cheers!

Only been here a few times, it's a pretty solid "dive" feeling pub, good prices.

Step into this Seattle gem, and you might first wonder if you've taken a wrong turn. But fear not, this classic dive bar is a diamond in the rough, offering an experience that's as authentic as it gets. It's the kind of place that, once you get it, you can't help but be drawn back, time and again. Here, the eclectic crowd is part of the charm. You'll find business suits rubbing elbows with leather-clad bikers, all united in their superlatives for the retro 3 Taco Bbasket and the iconic Seattle Dog with tots. It's a cacophony of diversity where everyone speaks the universal language of solid drinks, classic food, and good times. Note, the kitchen is cash only with an ATM about 4 feet away inside. My go-to drink when not eating is an old fashioned (rye), and my favorite dish is the Porkenstein Dog with extra cream cheese and jalapenos -- yes, you read that correctly -- paired with a Rainier. In short, if you're looking for an unpretentious bar with character in every corner and a menu that delights, look no further. This is where the heart of Seattle beats the loudest.

As a bar dweller who travels, I passed by this place a few times because it was near my room and supposed that I might find myself in here. Glad I did. The one empty barstool put me in great company for the night, the food served from a window in the other room appeared to satisfy everyone's needs. Great oval bar!

Great local spot. Note: reduced food menu on days there's an event at the climate pledge arena (no burgers). Also food is cash only but they have an ATM with a super cheap transaction fee

My first time here. Major plus is the prices. $8 Crown Royal $4 PBR. No complaints whatsoever. I put 3 star for for because I haven't ordered any food yet.
