Pretty good and very close to arboretum for a lunch before or after.

Solid teriyaki. We get takeout all the time, the chicken is cooked just right, they put additional teriyaki sauce to the side so you can add more sweetness if you like, and the portions are good. Thus far my favorite affordable teriyaki joint in Seattle.

I come in weekly to biweekly and grab myself a teriyaki chicken, a general Tao, a chicken katsu, or my recent favorite, Teriyaki Beef! The beef is extra tender, and I love the sweetness of the marinade they use. The general tao is crispy, the sauce the right blend of garlic, soy sauce, and vinegar. They use actual chunks of chicken thigh. Don't like it when people sell fried batter. Always get sizeable portion sizes for what you pay that usually can last me two meals. Shrinkflation is the worst, but I don't find that issue here. Cashier is kind, and I will talk with them sometimes while I eat there. This is my go-to teriyaki spot, and I drive from West Seattle to eat here. Always lifts my spirits!

Update to my previous review, 1 year later. This is still my favorite teriyaki restaurant out of both Seattle and Tacoma. Having moved away, I make it a point to go every time I’m in town. I always get the beef and broccoli and the spicy katsu, and it satisfies every single time. 10/10, always recommend

Really good vegan option. Soft tofu in a curry sauce. Tons of vegetables and not oily. Brown rice cooked perfectly. Best people.

Teriyaki Bowl’s straightforward chicken teriyaki and spicy variant are among the very best Seattle style teriyaki, period. I’m a lifelong devotee of Seattle style teriyaki and have had it at probably thirty places. Anyone complaining in these reviews is a transplant that ordered wrong. IGNORE.

Am a vegan and I had the brown rice with tofu teriyaki. Yum yum. Tofu was fried perfectly with a soft interior. Brown rice was super plump and chewy. Perfectly cooked. Salad was fresh with a delicious sauce. Portions were enough. Great location, great people, great food.
