Just moved to the neighborhood and so glad to have a great Mexican restaurant! Family owned and great cozy atmosphere. Food was excellent and a great portion for the price. The house margarita and salsa were the best part! Will definitely be coming back.
Wonderful restaurant with great service. There are so many delicious dishes on the menu. My go to is the chicken mexicana. My boyfriend has tried about 10 items and has enjoyed them all. Large portions and a wonderful casual atmosphere. It feels like a California sit down Mexican restaurant.

This place has a amazingly friendly staff, the decor is wonderful and provides artistic and cultured comfortability. Food is well priced, large portioned, and delicious. If in the area would definitely recommend if your looking to sit and eat some great food out of the rain this is a amazing option.

Came on a weekend. We had no expectations going in, but El Gallito turned out to be a charming place: low-key but good quality. Our server was fast and attentive, the food was fresh and good portioned. And the salsa! Excellent quality. Definitely a place on my list to return to in the near future.

It's no parking could use a little updating inside, but the food is pretty scrumptious & the service great.
