stairs are a little scary in the dark, but they have christmas lights! music is ok, they play a lot of remixes. come at at least 1030 for a more lit dance floor.

Nice venue in Seattle .. a really beautiful dance place for Friday or Saturday evenings to enjoy with your friends. Mostly young crowd, average age range 20 or 30 something..

Awesome bar on the hill. Friendly bar staff, competent & friendly security, lots of great drink specials depending on the day/night. Also, multiple levels, with dancing also dependant upon which night you show up.

Was in town on a late Sunday night & felt like seeing what was going on. Place had a banging ass DJ playing hip hop music, aight crowd, free entry, I was good with that.

Grimms is great because you can get food and drinks below, host a private party in the middle, and dance on the top floor. The music on the third floor has been excellent all 3 times I've been here. They play a good variety including random throw backs, top 40 songs, R&B, Pop, and a few techno songs thrown in. The age group for the dance area seems like its mostly people between 21-30ish. This is definitely one of my favorite places to go dancing in Seattle. It's a small area, so it typically feels/gets packed.

Grim's is the place to be if you are looking to get a little wild and let loose. Downstairs is a more formal bar area with tables and drinks. Upstairs typically requires a cover of $10 and is where the DJ and dancing is located. This can get really packed and is guaranteed to give you a night to remember.
