Delicious and fast. Broccoli was a little undercooked for my preference, but that’s a personal thing. Menu needs an update.

Compared to the previous management, this is a well maintained restaurant that I actually wouldn't mind sitting and eating at. Is it clean and modernized and their chicken teriyaki is enough to keep me full. Overall their food is very fresh and is served quickly.

Delicious, large portions, & fast service. Underrated! One of my favorite spots on the Ave. Best dish: combo fried rice (has beef, pork, AND chicken)

Asked the cashier for a recommendation and was not disappointed. Honestly they had fine dining level of food in a quick and easy atmosphere. It deserves more recognition.

Food was pretty good, the chicken and spicy chicken teryaki was nice. Service was decent and dining in wasn’t bad.

Really great value, especially for Seattle prices. Usually $10-$15 will fill you up here. The serving sizes, especially for the fried rice dishes, are huge, so you can save half for a future meal and still feel full eating the remaining half at the restaurant. Fast service and good food. Would highly recommend especially to students looking for a relatively cheap place to get a lot of food.

I absolutely love this place. Fast, hot, and huge portions, I go here way more than is healthy. Its very much my go-to for lunch, since its so close to campus. Highly recommend, the food isn't the best teriyaki I have ever had but its convenience and space makes it a recommend for me.

Had the spicy chicken teriyaki. Was surprised with the portion size considering the price. Spicy chicken was actually spicy and wasn't excessively sweet. Chicken was better than some of the other teriyaki spots I've tried around here

Had the Mongolian Beef and it was delicious, tasted like home. Highly recommend as the place definitely doesn’t reflect it’s rating.

Food is pretty great. There's a big selection of menu to choose from, not to mention beverages. Free hot tea if you don't want to buy a beverage. Price is average as other places on the Ave. Service is pretty quick and to the point. Pretty close to Kane Hall compared to middle of the Ave. Good place to hang out in-between or after lectures.

Try it. It is largely what you'd expect. pretty good food, good prices, large portions. the only would-be reason not to go, is the setting--it doesn't feel like the cleanest place. Not to say its a deal breaker...

OK Teriyaki, try the Korean menu. The regular teriyaki menu is on par with other places. What are you expecting for $7?

I like the Korean menu, though. All I knew was Bee Bim Bob. But after walking down the list for the last year, I say Yea! There is Gul Goghi (spelling?) and others that are great! They seem to be made by an older Asian (I'm hoping Korean, but don't know that) guy in the back of the kitchen.

Give it a shot, try something different from the menu. The test is when an Asian restaurant has a lot of Asian people eating there. This place does. I see kids eating from plates that I have never seen before. I've asked them what it is, and then tried it. It's good.

Worst food. Ever.. I really don't understand the hype about this place. I understand that it is a "cheap eats" joint, but that's no excuse for the fare here. The teriyaki is basically dry meat with Mr. Yoshida's slathered on it. I have tried many things on the menu, but all of them are unappetizing.
I heartily agree with the review above. There is always a line to order food, the staff is generally dismissive and sometimes rude (especially if you don't have your mode of payment available RIGHT NOW or have questions about a particular dish). While your food is brought to your table, you must bus your own dishes. In winter, I really hate eating here because the door doesn't close all the way and it is always cold.
Really, I could go on forever about how unworthy this place is of my $5.95, so I shall end this quickly. If you want some (usually) hot food of questionable quality, then this is the place for you. Otherwise, there is much better teriyaki elsewhere on the ave!
