Among the better teriyakis I’ve had in seattle. Perfectly cooked, succulent chicken with blanced sauce and sticky, but not too-sticky rice. Beef yakisoba was equally great. General Tao’s chicken was pretty forgettable, but the chicken and beef were so good, I just can’t deduct a star. Great value too. Very large takeout portions. Will certainly be back for more.

Teriyaki Madness in Capitol Hill, Seattle, is a must-visit for anyone craving tasty teriyaki dishes. With the Spicy Garlic Chicken being a personal favorite, clean premises, and wallet-friendly prices, it's a fantastic spot to satisfy your Asian cuisine cravings. Plus, the generous portion sizes make it a great choice for sharing or enjoying a second meal later.

I love having this as my local teriyaki place! They get a great light char on the chicken with a nice sticky sauce and fluffy rice. I usually get the plain chicken teriyaki order; I've gotten the spicy teriyaki before but found it's better if you add your own Sriracha to the regular one.
I've only done take out here and the place doesn't seem set up for dine-in. Ordering is quick and easy and the order is usually ready within ~15 minutes. There's limited street parking only in this area but I've never had trouble finding a nearby spot to run in and grab my food.

Chill spot that's never too packed but the food is consistently good. Really fresh and not over filling but huge portions. Makes mediocre teriyaki so much easier to spot when you have a good standard. Makes the price worth it, too.

I eat here a few times a year. I love their yakisoba. But the reason why I'm reviewing them today is because my mom was in urgent care across the street and they didn't have food. So I got some food at Safeway but Safeway didn't have any forks. So I walked over to Teriyaki Madness and asked them if they had a fork and they said absolutely and they gave me a fork with a smile. That's just good, kind customer service and I'll give them a big tip when I visit them next time .:)

So I've been eating here since 2013. The woman who used to run the counter knew our order by heart! We had a menu taped on our fridge from when the Chicken Teriyaki was $7.95.
It got way more expensive lately after the management change, yeah. If you tip %20, the basic Chicken Teriyaki is $17 after tax.
We have eaten here a lot less because of it for sure.
That said; each order is so much food; enough food to split between my partner and I and have us both be full, which prices it about at Chipotle.
The food is still solid! And I say that going in skeptically! The chicken has the nice smoky char. In fact it actually is better than I remember. More moist and fatty! The sauce is... Well, it's teriyaki sauce. The salad... I miss the cucumber salad to be honest. I feel like if they sprinkled some sesame seeds over the chicken people would feel like they got an even better dish tbh.
Look, $17 for Teriyaki is A Lot. I don't know if the kitchen staff are getting a fairer shake than before, but I hope they are. But it's still good Teriyaki, and if you turn it into two meals, that pricetag is not out of line with most places. I really bristled at the price jump, but I'm pretty sure they realize they are giving most people """""two meals worth"""" so keeping that in mind? Yeah, we'll probably come back when we're in the mood!
4-stars because price, but the food and service is 5 stars

Some of the best chicken teriyaki in Seattle! I’m usually not a big fan of teriyaki because I find most places have hard crusty chicken. This is NOT the case for Teriyaki madness on Capital Hill. Every time I come here the chicken is always moist and freshly cooked. Location is right in front of 2 spots that are 30 minute parking. So it’s usually easy to pick up to-go orders.

Someone said their chicken teri is fluffy. They weren't lying! I normally get pork when ordering teriyaki elsewhere, because chicken twnds to be flat, charred and dry. Not here. This spot has the best chicken around. Fluffy, fresh and moist!

Delicious! Portions are a pretty good size. I’m a little picky about fried rice and this was pretty good! The lady behind the counter was so nice and friendly. She went out of her way to get me some salt from the kitchen.
