The black eyed peas jambalaya is a great winter warmer! For nicer weather, a blackened catfish poboy on the sidewalk patio is a welcome respite. The owner is very friendly and this is a great small local business without all the Pike Place touristy pretension. It's on my short list of places to hit
Had lunch there for the first time today -- a very tasty blackened chicken Po Boy with organic greens salad. The staff was delightful and friendly, the service quick, and the food fresh. I will return! It was lovely to sit by the windows and people watch while eating too.
Great gumbo and jambalaya! They are very open to customizing your order... Don't want sausage...no problem. Extra rice...yep!
