This is a great local butcher with lots of options and even more wisdom on how to cook, prepare and select meat. They don’t just have protein. You can also find cheese, eggs, vegetables, bones, sauces, rubs, spices, jerky, landjaeger‘s, and much more. The staff is very kind and knowledgeable and there is enough differently prepared meat here to keep your mealtime interesting for a long time.

Friday May 12, was the first time we visited the Live Butcher. My wife is a carnivore and very picky about her meat. I bought two 2.5 Lb. Prime Porterhouse for an outing on her boat on Mothers Day. To say they were the best I’ve ever eaten would be an understatement. I’d give 6 stars if I could. Old school meat market with great customer service. I’ll be back anytime I need THE BEST.

When I placed an order for prime rib, I spoke to the owner. He was the nicest guy! He told me all about his business, how to do a prime rib, and set the expectation on what pickup would be like on Christmas Eve. And it doesn’t stop there. The prime rib was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G! The quality was on point and absolutely worth every penny. Our Christmas dinner was a success!

*Very* much enjoyed my St. Patty's Day standard meal of the Corned Beef you guys made in-house, along with the obligatory cabbage, Potatoes, and carrots.
Plopped everything in the crock pot, dumped some Guinness stout in as the cooking liquid of choice, with water to get the level of liquid to where I figured it should be in the cooker, (though the ratio very much favored the Guinness!), and let 'er simmer all day.
The Corned Beef was fabulous. SO flavorful!
I bought one from you last year; pre-packaged, (Cloverdale?) and although I recall enjoying it, it simply didn't stand out as being as flavorful as this one.
Of course, I have leftovers, so will enjoy it for a few days.
Kinda glad I'm old, and that time passes so quickly now, as *next* St. Patrick's Day will be here in no time, and I'll be able to enjoy another one!

Love these folks! I've been enjoying their great foods for maybe 34 years (way back when I was a starving student). Back then they were located on Hwy 99 just north of Sea-Tac airport. Now they're in my neighborhood! Yay!

been a lot of years but loved your store and your dad was great 25=30 years now....use to hit the old derby tavern then your store with my dad. Back in the day derby tavern had meat shoots on sundays on pool table won your steaks a few times.
