I’ve tried so many coffees in so many places, so many countries, but none of them can compare to this place. I’ve never enjoyed coffee more. I can't stop talking about it and telling all my friends that they should visit! My dad came to visit me from a different country and Jake’s coffee was the place I was the most excited to show my dad! It's not just the coffee that I love, but the owner. She’s such a beautiful soul with such kind energy! I can't express enough how much I love her! 🤍

Awesome service. The boss lady is so sweet. Don’t listen to the negative reviews. They seem to think a cafe is a study lounge. Don’t complain if you get kicked out for not purchasing anything. The tables are for CUSTOMERS.

Delicious, definitely the best coffee I've had in the University District. I've been going here semi regularly for two years and it has consistently remained excellent.

Ignore the reviews saying the owner is rude as she is very kind and works very hard! Jakes Coffee has the best atmosphere to get work done in and everything from food to coffee is so well priced especially considering the prices of other coffee places. The drinks are delicious and there is fast wifi and a restroom available to customers. I have been 3 times so far and it is becoming my regular spot.

Was a visitor to Seattle. This is a total neighborhood coffee shop. Woman working knew everyone's orders. Customers seem very loyal. Coffee was good too ;)

I'm absolutely in love with this coffee shop! Working nearby has allowed me to savor various yummy drinks and bakery goods. The lovely lady at the counter is just the sweetest, and the service is always exceptional. I couldn't recommend Jake's enough!

An all-around pleasant experience early on a Sunday morning. Solid latte. Excellent service. Welcoming setting. Even had a free newspaper waiting to be read. Have to support local journalism … and coffeehouses.

Nice little coffee shop. I got a soy latte and it was pretty good. The woman helping me was very nice. There's a good selection of drinks with traditional espresso and sweeter options.

this place is the best!!! the woman who runs the store is the absolute nicest. she noticed I rode my bike here and offered me to store my bike inside the cafe while I was here, so it would be safer <3 :D ! the drinks are very tasty, the space is very nice -- lots of outlets, plenty of tables but not cramped, peaceful music, and the other patrons of the store tend to be very courteous and quiet. also everything is so reasonably priced! fast and friendly service. I have only been here a couple times but it is already one of my favorite coffee shops in Seattle!
